Ótimo filme, com atuações excelentes dos atores mirins, uma atmosfera muito marcante, com constante presença da neve, fotografia e enquadramentos maravilhosos. Com toques de horror e algum suspense, o filme na verdade é um drama quase poético sobre o fim da infância, amizade, amor e a melancolia do vampirismo. |

Clássico brilhante, com várias cenas memoráveis, ótimas atuações e bela trilha sonora. Mas o ponto forte é a fotografia expressionista maravilhosa e as composições de cena e enquadramentos que são obras de arte. O filme lembra aquelas histórias assustadoras que as avós contam aos netos, tem um clima de sonho e pesadelo, de conto de fadas ao estilo João e Maria, com um vilão assustador em grande interpretação de Robert Mitchum. A ótima Lillian Gish torna o filme mais interessante ainda na parte final, mas é justamente na parte final que o filme fica doce demais e perde um pouco do impacto. Mesmo assim, um belíssimo suspense. |

Excelente esse filme! Achei que seria mais um daqueles filmes cheio de clichês sobre um cara apaixonado pelo melhor amigo, mas o filme foi uma bela surpresa. É muito gostoso de ver, tem um clima bom, há drama, há comédia, as atuações são ótimas, a fotografia é bonita, há cenas lindas, mas o mais importante a história é bem contada de modo envolvente, com personagens realistas e bem desenvolvidos. Já entrou pra minha lista de favoritos. |
