Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
You don't get better movies than this. From start to finish Lucas has found his pace. In my opinion you really won't find a better movie. If you want something comparable, start familiarizing yourself with Wagner's Gotterdammerung.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace 1999,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
When I saw this in Japan, two little girls around 5 years old were begging their dad to stay and see it a second time. Just the way I was crazy about Empire at about the same age. Who says the new movies aren't as good as the old ones?
4
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones 2002,  PG)
5
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back 1980,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
I used this as a pick-me-up this week. Star Wars is great.
6
Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi 1983,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
My least favorite of the Star Wars movies--for no good reason. This is where everything that began in Episode One concludes.
7
2046 2004,  R)
2046
One of the few movies that in my opinion ranks up there with Star Wars. How many times can a person fall in love with Fay Ray in one hour? And Tony Leung is the coolest dude I ever saw!
8
The Crow 1994,  R)
The Crow
A meaningful comic book film. Hard to come by.
9
Crimes and Misdemeanors 1989,  PG-13)
Crimes and Misdemeanors
About the time Match Point came out I read an interview with Woody Allen in Vanity Fair in which he said that he had never made a truly great film such as the great masters had back in the Golden Age of cinema. It's too bad he thinks so. This is a truly great film.
10
Love and Death 1975,  PG)
Love and Death
Can we not talk about sex so much?
11
Twin Peaks - Fire Walk with Me 1992,  R)
Twin Peaks - Fire Walk with Me
Where the hell is Lara Flynn Boyle!? Otherwise, this is great.
12
Excalibur 1981,  R)
Excalibur
A dream to some, a nightmare to others.
13
Blade Runner 1982,  R)
Blade Runner
Ahh...Sean Young, where art thou? I just watched the final cut for the first time, and was amazed. Movie-making rarely gets this good.
14
Dune 1984,  PG-13)
15
Fa Yeung Nin Wa (In the Mood for Love) 2000,  PG)
16
Star Wars: Clone Wars - Volume 1 2003,  G)
