There are many reasons to like this film. Most of them involve Natalie Portman. Some of them relate to its pathos. Then there is the sound track ... hats off to Damien Rice.

I loved Lost in Translation and was looking forward to this on account of that. Unfortunately, I thought Murray gave a very exaggerated caricature of his performance in Lost In Translation and that grated a bit.
