Return of the Killer Tomatoes!
What a hilarios movie. And it's not funny as in a "I love stupid, low budget movies" kind of way. It's actually one of the funniest movies I've ever seen! The reacurring joke of them making fun of their own low budget is genius.

As Good As It Gets 1997,  PG-13)
As Good As It Gets
I'm not usually one for love stories, but I really enjoyed this movie, mostly because I love Jack Nicholson's character. His acting is superb and his progression from an obsessive-compulsive, insulting ass hole to a somewhat kind hearted, loving man is outstanding.

The Return of the Living Dead 1985,  R)
The Return of the Living Dead
Funniest zombie movie of all time. Period.

Die You Zombie Bastards 2005,  Unrated)
Die You Zombie Bastards
Oh....My...God. This is the most ridiculous movie I have ever seen and I freaking love it!

"And that's the meaning of Christmas". Hilarious.
5
American Psycho 2000,  R)
American Psycho
I love the surreal feel of this movie and the over the top conformity of all the male characters. Also has some great murder scenes that are nowhere near ordinary. And I'd like to add it has a great soundtrack that really works well with the movie.
6
The Weather Man 2005,  R)
The Weather Man
Very dry, dark comedy and I love it. Nicolas Cage gives an excellent performance as the pathetic, depressed David Spritz. This movie is very depressing at times as you really realize how pathetic the life of the protagonist really is. But at the same time you can't help but laugh at some of the predicaments that the characters find themselves in. This movie definitely isn't for everyone as it is indeed very dry and the humour doesn't jump right out at you. So if you get bored easily don't watch this movie, but if you like sitting down and watching the life of a man unfold, by all means check out this movie.

American Beauty 1999,  R)
American Beauty
In my mind this is quite possibly the best movie ever made. Every scene, every character, every line is absolutely perfect. The dark humour is hilaruious and the storyline is beyond gripping. Incredible movie.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 1975,  R)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
It's impossible not to fall in love with the characters of this movie. And as always, a masterful performance by Jack Nicholson.
9
The Dead Next Door 1989,  Unrated)
The Dead Next Door
Hilarious. Had some pretty good gore/death scenes for the budget. Also I loved the indie look of the move.
10
Jacob's Ladder 1990,  R)
Jacob's Ladder
Amazing movie. Indeed a little confusing, at least on my part, as it took a second viewing and a little explaining before I really understood the concept. But once I did understand what it was really about I was amazed at the creativity of the storyline. An excellent movie filled with great acting and a few very freaky and disturbing scenes.

28 Days Later 2002,  R)
28 Days Later
Not a traditional zombie movie, and definitely didn't live up to the hype of being "scary as hell" in the sense of making me jump and scream. However the concept of a massive viral outbreak consuming an entire population is indeed a very frightening idea, so in that sense it is an extremely scary movie. One of the top modern day horror movies no question.
12
About Schmidt 2002,  R)
About Schmidt
Love this movie. An excellent look at the effect of changes in a persons life. Personally, I fell in love with the character of Warren Schmidt, as Jack Nicholson did a great job in his role. Not only as a serious role but his comedic acting in some scenes was superb. Not to sound like a softy but the final scene always gets me.
13
Dead Alive (Braindead) 1992,  R)
Dead Alive (Braindead)
One of the goriest, most graphic, and greatest zombie movies I've ever seen.
14
American History X 1998,  R)
American History X
One of the most intelligent movies I've ever seen in my life. An amazing movie that brings the viewer right in the middle of racial/social conflicts in urban US. Simply amazing and groundbreaking.
15
The Shining 1980,  R)
The Shining
This movie is the reason why I love Jack Nicholson so much, an amazing performance on his part. His facial expressions alone are enough to make you shiver. And of course you can't mention The Shining without throwing in one of the all time famous movie quotes "Here's Johnny!!!". An amazing movie and definitely in my mind the top horror movie ever.
16
Fast Food Nation 2006,  R)
Fast Food Nation
After working in fast food myself I was a big fan of this movie. I've heard a lot of people say that they didn't like how nothing was resolved in the movie, but that's exactly how it is in real life. One individual or a small group can't take on a massive capitalist organization and win. Big fan of the social commentarry, especially in the scene with Bruce Willis, basically sumed up the entire movie.
17
Mississippi Burning 1988,  R)
Mississippi Burning
Without a doubt one of the most powerful movies I have ever seen. An amazing look at the problem of racism in the southern United States. The ignorance and stubbornness of the majority of the Mississippi community in this movie really caused me to feel extremely angry, which further proves the effectiveness of this movie. I also loved the conflicting styles of the two detectives, Gene Hackman had a few scenes that made him look like such a bad ass, I loved it.
18
A Night at the Roxbury 1998,  PG-13)
A Night at the Roxbury
My favourite movie of all time. Yes it's a stupid, brainless movie, but it is hilarious. Plus, it has probably the best soundtrack ever.
19
Shaun of the Dead 2004,  R)
Shaun of the Dead
Hilarious comedy/zombie movie. A great job was done on this movie making it as funny as it was while still holding onto a classic zombie movie feel.
