Ghost world-
enid is a very unique character. She uses cliche's and stereotypes to dictate her lifestyle. She develops a very innapropriate relationship with a much older man. infact, a creepy older man. Its alot differant than any movie ive seen. It's definetly stuck in my head

Girl, Interrupted
one of the best films ever made.
14
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory 1971,  G)

Gene wilder is an artist. Everything about this movie is genuinely fucked up. Willy wonka is an unforgettable character played extremely well by gene wilder. The sets and music are just as creepy and fucked as the rest of the movie. I loved it. I could watch this everyday and never get tired of it.
15
V for Vendetta 2006,  R)
V for Vendetta
extremely well crafted movie. Very indepth plot and alot of background information that gives it an "educated" feel. Portman gives a decent performance but its the man behind the mask who keeps you watching. The cinematography in this movie is great.

Labyrinth 1986,  PG)
Labyrinth
ONE OF THE BEST FUCKIGN FILMS EVER MADE. If you dont watch this movie you should fucking kill yourself. David bowie acting is the first reason, the second reason is Jim Hensons fucked puppet creations which play most of the characters in the movie.. I dont know. 26
C.R.A.Z.Y. (Crazy) 2005,  R)
C.R.A.Z.Y. (Crazy)
incredible. All movies should be made by either spanish or french speaking directors and writers. The point of view is much different, and much better. C.R.A.Z.Y. is the story of a french family who have five sons. each individual. Nerd, Rebel, Jock, and sexually confused akward child (plus a baby that has no real part in the movie). The actors who play the roles of the parents do great jobs and the actors playing the children find each role and make it real. It takes place throughout the 60's 70's and 80's. Now i know why i like it. Lighting cigarettes off of a birthday. priceless. everything ends in tradegy when the eldest brother The rebel starts abusing drugs ending in a heartbreaking overdose which unites the family. one of the best movies ive seen lately that had a lasting effect on me. Very stylish, and pleasing for the eyes. a great film overall.

Whats better than timetravel, aliens and trannys? NOTHING THATS WHAT! This movie was ground breaking. Even today half the stuff in that movie is inappropriate. I love eveerything about it. "IT was a mercy killing" I will never forget that line. Meatloaf makes a charming appearance in this movie, ahaha
29

The Royal Tenenbaums
Amazing, beyond amazing. One of the best movies EVER made. Funny, Whitty, The characters are so well developed that each one of them could of easily had there own movie. 34
Prozac Nation 2005,  R)
Prozac Nation
One of the most moving films you will ever see. Like some other great hollywood blockbusters and independant films alike, you watch this beautiful young person slowly spiral downwards before enevidably finding her clarity in the middle of her two polar-oppisite ways of living.

Christina Ricci was the perfect choice for this role. But when isnt ricci the perfect choice for any role? One of the best movies i have ever seen. It sucks you in and makes her problems your problems. Im absolutely in love with this movie. EVERYONE should see this before they die.

this movie is an achievement for salma hayek, she did an incredible job of an empowered woman in mexico during the early 1920's.

She manages to be beautiful even with that huge unibrow. The cast is great, the story is great.. I have no complaints. Frida's lover is fuckin nasty looking though.
:S
36
The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de Motocicleta) 2003,  R)
The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de Motocicleta)
One of my favorite movies of all time. Ernesto "che" Guevara's personal memoir turned into a film. It shows a real side of him. NOT the americanized version which turns him into a cold blooded killer.. Who cares afew people were execututed! He was a hero!

Two friends travel from the south of South america (Aregentina) all the way to the north (venezuela), Its a really cool story. Gael Garcia Bernal is INCREDIBLE as always in his role.

almost impossible to watch at times, yet always remains beautiful. A difficult thing to accomplish when you see a drug addict pricking dead wounds in the hopes of finding a vein to shoot up with.

Léon (The Professional)
The scenes in this movie were well directed, the character portman plays is at times terrible but mostly very original and intriquing. By the end of the movie you are hoping they will get together, and when leon dies you feel horrible. watch it. Its worth your time.
