My Favorite Movies

Definitely the greatest war film ever made! Quite possibly one of the greatest films of all time. And to think that Shakespeare in Love beat out this film for best picture at the Oscars that year, what a joke!

This movie was fantastic in many ways. The script was excellent and the movie has a good flow to it. The supporting cast for this film were magnificent. The cinematography for this film was inspiring and spot on for each scene. They used quite a variety of themes throughout the film. At times they panoramic views to show the majesty of Norway's country side. Other times they used a documentary type feel to shoot some of the combat scenes, thus putting the viewer in the action. I loved this film and it really blew me away. The real life people, who the movie is based on, are inspiring. The lead actor in the film, Akesl Hennie, was absolutely brilliant in this film. And yes I did say that the supporting cast was amazing but this movie would not have been as good as it was without Hennie in it. This movie should be seen on the big screen, barring that you should definitely see this film at some point.

This movie was incredible, entertaining, humorous, action packed, and intriguing. I loved the story line for this film, it was very engrossing. They have a cast relative unknown actors but they did a great job. The CGI was very impressive, everything in this film looks life like. The actor who played the lead character was amazing in this film. This film would not have been as good without him in it. There is a good pace to this film so that it never drags. This was a very entertaining film I'm really glad that I saw it in the theatre!

This movie was mind blowing! I thoroughly enjoyed this film. First off they put together a great ensemble cast for this film. Leonardo DiCaprio definitely carries this film but without the other actors as his supporting cast this movie would not have been as great as it was. I thought Ellen Page and Ken Watanabe both gave strong performances in this film and I'm glad that they played the characters that they did. The concept for this film was very intriguing and thought provoking. The CGI for this film was fantastic, it was candy for the brain. The story line was quite compelling and suspenseful at times. This was a great film!

I absolutely loved this film right up until the end, which I was a little disappointed with. Otherwise I would have given this movie 5 stars out of 5. The CGI and the cinematography was absolutely mind blowing for the combat sequences. I can't say enough about these scenes except that you must see this film on the big screen to truly appreciate it. I thought they put together a fantastic cast, all except for Vanessa Hudgens who I'm not very fond of. They should have used Mila Kunis instead. Having said that Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, and Jena Malone were all brilliant in this film. This film would not have been as good as it was without these three performances. Emily, Abbie, and Jena carry this film and make it what it is. Honourable mention goes to Jamie Chung who gives a very good performance as well. Last but not least I have to say that Zack Snyder did a first rate job with this film it was amazing!

This was a very good movie! It has many plot twists that keep you guessing until the end. Jean reno was fantastic as usual.

This movie was much more than a romantic teen comedy, this movie told everyone that JohnCusack was going to have a long and successfull career in movies. This is a great movie! The script is witty, insightfull, heart wrenching, and inspiring. I loved this movie! This is a feel good movie that everyone should see.

This movie was fantastic! The script was amazing! The cast were very good. The cinematography was perfect for each scene. The lead actor and the lead actress were so good in this film. This is a must see film. A word of warning though, some of the scenes in this film are brutaly violent and disturbing. But this film deals with subject matter that needs to be brought into the light.

This movie is fantastic! At times it is a total thrill ride. But there are also some very retrospective moments in this film which cause you to pause and think about humanity too. The cast of relatively unknown actors are very good. Of course Cillian Murphy is a big star now but this movie launched his career. Some scenes in this movie will scare the pants off of you!

This movie was so well done and the story line will keep you interested all through the film. This film gets two thumbs up from me, I loved it!

I absolutely loved this film! The action sequences in this film will blow your mind. The CGI and Special effects were outstanding. I thought that Nicolas Cage and Chloe Moretz were absolutely brilliant in this film and this film would not have been the same without them in it. The lead actor was alright but I found his character to be a wimp. Christopher Mintz-Plasse was amazing in this as well, I loved his character. Overall this film was extremely entertaining and quite the thrill ride!

This is a wonderful movie about following your dreams and not settling for second best. The ensemble cast asembled for this film work perfectly together. Without each one this film would not be the same. The script for this film is very good. It evokes laughter, sorrow, heart ache, joy, and above all else it inspires you to do great things!

A fantastic feel good movie! Everyone should see this film at least once. Sean Astin gives the performance of a life time in this film. Sean carries this film for the entire duration. This is a great film because of his great porformance!

Let me start by saying that this movie was not what I expected and I loved this film! The story line is very intriguing and the movie raises a lot of interesting questions about where society is headed. Some of the scenes in this film are really messed up and twisted. They put an amazing cast together for this film. Gerard Butler was fantastic in this film but then again he usually is. Amber Valletta was very good in this as well. And I was so glad to see Alison Lohman in this, she gave a strong performance as always. The action sequences in this film are gritty, fast paced, and packed with explosions and surprises. One last thing the cinematography was amazing because they used several different styles to shoot this film. This is a fantastic mind blowing journey!

A very entertaining and thought provoking film. Jake Gyllenhaal gives us a taste of how good an actor he is with this performance. Jena Malone was very good as well, look for her to do great things in future films. This film will force you to think out of the box, it is a very intelligant film.

One of Cusack's best romcoms, rates up there with Say Anything.

This movie is fantastic. It has a great plot with lots of twist. The cast put together for this film is perfect, they have great screen chemistry. The special effects developed for this movie were ground breaking at that time. This film is very thought provoking and intelligent. The performances by Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Keanu Reeves were very good. What a great film!

A very heart warming film about friendship.

A very insightful film about lifes' pressures and dealing with the after effects of suicide.

This movie is one of my favourites. There is tonnes of action in this and lots of witty banter. The two lead actors were fantastic in their roles.

This is probably one of the best teen movies ever made, besides the Breakfast Club. I loved Mary Stuart Masterson in this movie her character was very real. Eric Stoltz was very good in this too. This movie has a great soundtrack, classic 80's.

This movie kicked ass! It is action packed and it has a fantastic cast!

A very entertaining and eye opening film!

What a fantastic movie this is. Michael Pare may have not done anything else this good but he was great in this movie. The sets, the cinematogrophy, the script, and the music all make this movie a classic. Also this movie would not have been as good as it was without the supporting cast that it has. The cherry on top of the sundae is Diane Lane as the damsel in distress.

An edgy, fast paced action movie and Keira Knightley full of attitude as well!

It's better to burn out than fade away....this is a great flick!

This movie was such a great adaptation of the video game. I loved the story line and Angelina Jolie was perfect as Lara Croft.

This is a great movie about gang life. Robert Duval was very good in this movie and Sean Penn was perfect as the rookie cop.

A great film, Natalie Portman was awesome!

This movie has some great chase scenes and you can't go wrong with Scarlett Johansson in lycra.

Chalk full of interesting tidbits about Factory Records...quite entertaining.

Ford is every guys hero!

I really enjoyed this movie, I thought Anne Hathaway was great. Meryl Streep was fantastic as the very demanding boss. There's also a lesson in this movie about life and making the most of your opportunities.

This was a great movie! It is about a sports oriented high school and the students there. The lead actress who played the out cast female was great. Her character was very deep and full of emotion. The characters in this movie interact with each other on a mature level so this isn't a typical shallow teen movie. The story line is very good and they assembled a great cast for this movie. I'd recommend this movie to anyone, it was a pleasure to watch!

This movie was absolutely amazing! You must see this film on the big screen and in 3D. I really enjoyed the story and I found myself getting attached to the characters. The animation in the film is top notch. The cinematography is beautiful and breath taking. I thought that Sam Worthington did an amazing job. I was really glad to see Michelle Rodriguez in this and I thought she gave a really strong performance. James Cameron has to get an Oscar nomination for best picture and best director for this film. If not there is no justice in Hollywood. Go see this film while it is still in the theatre. This movie was fantastic!
