A Walk to Remember
Pass the kleenex. I can't help crying for the last half of the movie. The entire last half of the movie.
2
The Notebook 2004,  PG-13)
The Notebook
Hottest sex scene. Ever.
3
10 Things I Hate About You 1999,  PG-13)
10 Things I Hate About You
One of my top 10 Things I love about stupid teen flicks/ modernized Shakespeare.
4
Labyrinth 1986,  PG)
Labyrinth
Quite possibly my favorite movie. Quintessentially 80's kid movie.
5
Amélie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain) 2001,  R)
Amélie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain)
Just beautiful... my "feel good" movie.
6
Raise the Red Lantern (Da hong deng long gao gao gua) 1991,  PG)
Raise the Red Lantern (Da hong deng long gao gao gua)
A really wonderful film that was actually banned in China when it first came out. Gorgeous.
7
Saved! 2003,  PG-13)
Saved!
Anything that makes fun of religion without reverting to idiotic "They're just f*in wrong, man!" is fine by me.
8
Mona Lisa Smile 2003,  PG-13)
Mona Lisa Smile
My inner feminist sqwees.
9
Rent 2005,  PG-13)
Rent
No day but today, my friends.
10
Meet the Feebles 1989,  R)
Meet the Feebles
This movie will give you nightmares, but in the best way possible. It's awesome. The coolest thing is this is one of Peter Jackson's first films (yes, the same Peter Jackson that made the Lord of the Rings).
11
28 Days Later 2002,  R)
28 Days Later
This will give you nightmares in the "I'm gonna crap myself" way. Awesomely low-budget and incredibly feasable when you think about it. The best part to me, is that the zombies aren't the ones you really have to worry about, but your fellow humans.
