Michelle Williams really nails the character of Marilyn Monroe and Kenneth Branagh is superb. The movie is heartwarming and studies its characters and plot with delicacy. The only thing that didn't get me at times were the directing and editing.

This is an excellent cinematic experience. Every aspect of the movie was carefully developed till it was perfect. There are a lot of scenes that will shock you, specially the ending. The narrative, which goes from past to present and vice versa, was done in a way that you will never feel lost. The film was greatly crafted. The cast is impeccable, the script is strong and the dialogues flow as they were natural. The suspense is always present and there is a kind of tension even in the most serene scene. "The Secret in Their Eyes" is one of the best movies I have seen recently. It will stay with you for a long while and will make you think about all the ethical issues it raises.
