Favorite of all time. Best movie I've ever seen. Just watched it for the 2nd time in 11 years(I'm 23 now) and I didn't realize until now just how great this movie is. Plus the documentary covering the story of Orson Welles vs. William Randolph Hearst makes this movie even more unique and adds a depth to the movie that no other movie, that I've seen, has reached before. |

Tron Legacy 2010, PG)
I got to see this in an IMAX 3D theater and it was so great. So much to like about this movie. I loved how they made Jeff Bridges look young in this movie to play as CLU. I can see people using this feature in future movies like people use auto-tune today. The light suits they were wearing and the world they created was a great improvement on the first Tron. It was so cool to see Daft Punk making a cameo appearance, and I thought it was very fitting to have them do the music for the movie. The cast was perfect. I've only seen Olivia Wilde play as 13 in House, but she didn't seem out of her element in this movie. She was very good in her action sequences and I can't wait to see what else she'll be doing in the future. I love that they gave Zuse/Castor a David Bowie quality to that character. Of course, Jeff Bridges was awesome in this movie, as expected. The movie was a fun ride and like I said before there is a lot to like about this movie. |

The Man from Earth 2007, Unrated)
This is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. The whole movie is entirely dialogue and it was some of the best dialogues I've ever heard. This movie never felt like it slowed down because the conversation was filled with some much energy and emotion. I mean the concepts that they touched on were all fascinating to read or learn about on their own but to bring them all together under one caveman character was simply amazing. This is one of the few movies that made me wish it didn't have to end. |
