Pan's Labyrinth 2006, R)
A fairy tale for adults, a visual masterpiece, and something just a little bit differant. Sergi Lopez is nothing less than spectacular while playing the fascist Captain. The child acting is impressive aswell. Del Toro is truly one of the saviours of cinema, and it's quite fantastic to know that films like this are still being made, as aposed to the crappy "Gornography" (which does actually exist) films. The only skills needed to make those films, are to beat the censors. An absolute classic which i will definately watch again, again and probably again. |
