The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
My favourite of the Trilogy. More Aragorn, Frodo, Sam, and Gandalf. Less Legolas. I LOVE LORD OF THE RINGS!!!!!
4
The Dark Knight 2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
This is one of those movies that's so good I wish I could give it 6/5 stars. I hardly know what to say.

This movie benefits from several excellent things. First, phenomenal casting and performances. Second, a great script. Third, the music. Fourth, it was a *long* movie with a lot going on. It would've felt horribly long had the pacing and the above things not been so excellent. Even with everything it covers, Dark Knight didn't feel rushed like the ending of Spider-Man3 did.
Dark Knight also solved all the things I didn't like about Batman Begins. I finally believed that Bale was both Wayne *and* Batman. The fighting here wasn't so quick and choppy, easier to follow, and Batman's fist really packs a punch. And Batman isn't afraid to break a few bones to get the job done. This wasn't the idealist cartoon Batman, this was the Dark hero of the comics.

I feel that I have to say a few things about the new characters: Joker and Harvey Dent.
I caught the buzz on how phenomenal Heath Ledger's Joker was, (and he was perfect.) So I expected a sicker, darker version of the Joker I grew up with. Or maybe Alan Moore's Joker brought to the screen. -It wasn't. Heath Ledger's Joker was completely his own, unlike any I'd experienced before, and perfect for this movie. He was funny, but I couldn't laugh at his jokes because it was so *Sick* and *perfect.*
Harvey Dent was so perfect in this, I don't know what to say. He was everything I loved about the comic Harvey Dent, and the shining hero of the movie. His storyline is handled so well I found myself crying for him every-time an ounce of foreshadowing surrounded his character.
Batman is the opposite of the Joker, and the opposite of Harvey Dent.

Finally, this movie leaves you with so much to think about. Even the sheer amount of material you have to *emotionally* react to is astounding. Heroes and villains. The White Knight and the Dark Knight.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Sweet! Met my expectations from the first movie. The step up to PG-13 really helped them out and made this an excellent film. They changed the order of events around a bit, but it made for a better movie in the end.
This movie had more fighting. Better soundtrack. Less kids being annoying. More Peter being awesome. Caspian and Susan are one hot couple.

Amazing, politically thought provoking, moving, epic. Hugo Weaving's acting as V is top notch. The action is placed perfectly, the complicated plot is revealed perfectly, the character progression is gripping, the ending is spectacular. I liked the film better than the Graphic Novel. -Brilliant movie everyone of age should see.
