Barfly
One of Mickey Rourke's finest performances, The thing I really love about this movie is that it doesn't try to tell you everything about Henry Chinaski and just shows you this time in his life and after it's finished you can just go back to what you were doing before.

137
Vertigo 1958,  PG)
Vertigo
A slightly flawed masterpiece, it's slightly too long but Jimmy Stewart is brilliant and the dream sequence is amazing.
138
The Trouble With Harry 1955,  PG)
The Trouble With Harry
Of all the Hitchcock films i've seen, this is my favourite, it's totally bizarre and absurd and completely hilarious, I don't understand the amount of hate towards it, it's a stroke of genius! of course it's not as important as Psycho, Vertigo, Rear Window and many other classics but this is a perfect black comedy.
139
The Tracey Fragments 2007,  R)

Lonesome Jim 2005,  R)
Lonesome Jim
A brutually hilarious film which is so insanely accuate to real family life, it's terrifing, Casey Affleck is insanely perfect as Jim. Steve Buscemi is just one of the great directors, nevermind actors.
147
Chungking Express 1994,  PG-13)
148
The People Vs. Larry Flynt 1996,  R)
The People Vs. Larry Flynt
Absolutely brilliant all round, I have only one issue with the film, it should have been slightly longer, about 30 minutes, include his presidential race, his 3 marriages before Courtney Love's character and his 3 or 4 kids but besides that, it's hilarious insight to a smut peddler but yet enduring important man and him showing up the US Government as the anti-free speech politicians they really are. Woody Harrelson just becomes Larry Flynt in the second half of the film and probably deserved the oscar that year, only Billy Bob Thornton may have top him in that year for "Sling Blade" who also didn't win and Ed Norton and Courtney Love deserved oscar nods but Richard Paul as Reverend Jerry Falwell should have won it no question, he looks and talks exactly like him.
149
Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid 1982,  PG)
150
Dirty Harry 1971,  R)
Dirty Harry
One of the most important and influential films ever made, a brilliant performance by Clint Eastwood, and a fast pace and it makes you want more.... shame the sequels were never as good, they were good but just not as good and I think it has to be done to the fact they never had a story as good as the zodiac killer one, would have been better if he got away so he could have followed him though out the years like the real one but it's still a masterpiece.
