This movie was based on the Graphic Novel, by Frank Miller, hence took some artistic liberty with the history. It was never advertised as Non-Fiction. I thought this movie was absolutely amazing. I will go see it in theatres again and it ranks as my new top film. It was glorious, beautiful, and brutal. I cried anashamedly in the theatre.
