Newsies
Kenny Ortega choreography. Christian Bale singing and dancing. All (almost) male cast. Catchy tunes. Rousing musical numbers in the fake streets of New York City. What more could you ask for?
3
Moulin Rouge! 2001,  PG-13)
Moulin Rouge!
Stunning, gorgeous, heartbreaking. I freakin love Nicole Kidman in this movie, and if Ewan McGregor's character in this movie was a real person I would marry him in a second. Or just stalk him.
4
Dreamgirls 2006,  PG-13)
Dreamgirls
Visually fun, amazing costumes, great music--non stop musical numbers if you're into that (and I most certainly am)
5
School of Rock 2003,  PG-13)
School of Rock
This movie is hilarious and so quotable. The kids are great and Jack Black is a spaz. Add Sarah Silverman and Joan Cusack and a cameo by Adam Pascal. Fun fun fun!
6
Zoolander 2001,  PG-13)
Zoolander
This movie deserves multiple viewings. And it gets better each time. SO great. Watching for the bazillion random cameos is fun too-- David Bowie!?!?!? "Listen to your friend Billy Zane" and buy this DVD and watch it repeatedly.

He's baaack! Leonardo DiCaprio that is. He's hot again! And Matt Damon aint bad either. In the words of a friend, "that movie made me want to bone him all over the place." Oh, and the movie is incredible too.

13

Requiem for a Dream
Though I felt like dying afterward, the fact that I couldn't stop thinking about it and had to watch it again makes me think it's pretty brilliant.

Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo 1999,  R)
Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo
I love this movie and I don't know why. It makes me laugh. Nuf said.
15
Little Miss Sunshine 2006,  R)
Little Miss Sunshine
Great cast, really funny, just the perfect amount of darkness and dysfunctionality to rescue it from being too sweet.
16
High School Musical 2006,  G)
High School Musical
I don't really know why I keep coming back to this movie. I enjoy it more and more each time. Don't get me wrong, it's "bad", but in a fun way. It's great for drunken sing-alongs.
17
The Nightmare Before Christmas 1993,  PG)
The Nightmare Before Christmas
This movie is quite genius! Amazing visual style and some great music by Danny Elfman.
18

An 80's classic, I've loved this movie since I was a kid. It brings me back. I want a Delorean.

The first 20 minutes of this movie are brilliant. The rest is too. I just really really like this movie. Scary.

Trainspotting 1996,  R)
Trainspotting
A 90's classic. I watched this probably about 20 times before I was old enough to really get it. Love the Blur tunes on the soundtrack-Britpop represent!
21
Empire Records 1995,  PG-13)
Empire Records
I freakin love this movie. This might be the movie I've seen the most times. It's funny, weird, quotable, and has famous actors before they were famous. And Ethan Embry is cute.
22
Center Stage 2000,  PG-13)
Center Stage
I love this movie. The acting is soooo bad but it has great dancing and cute boys. "You didn't have the feet. I don't have the heart." Priceless.
