St. Trinian's 2007, PG-13)
Without doubt, one of the best British comedies I've seen in ages. Very rarely is the term "all round favourite" used in the right manner, and it is used correctly when applied to this film. Rupert Everett is fantastic as Miss Fritton, as is Gemma Arterton as Head Girl Kelly (stunning as well, may I add), and Russell Brand as Flash Harry. Great gags, great plot, great movie. Go see it! |

The Break-Up 2006, PG-13)
Definitely one of Jennifer's best performances by a long shot. I definitely think that this movie and the Good Girl (which she also starred in) were key to establishing her as more than simply Rachel Green from Friends. The chemistry between her and Vince Vaughn is excellent, the jokes remain consistent, and it comes across as a really good romantic comedy without feeling like a romantic comedy at all. Marvellous. |
