My Favorite Movies

  Holadrim2487's Rating My Rating
1
The Green Mile 1999,  R)
The Green Mile
One of my all-time favourites just is awesome in every aspect, no need to count them down it simply is one 3 hour epic that grows on you.
2
Constantine 2005,  R)
Constantine
A special imagery that borrows from insanity and the gruesome; as dark as Sin City and as crazy as a japanese anime.
3
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
The final movie of the triology sews the last piece of the journey together valiantly.
4
The 40 Year Old Virgin 2005,  R)
The 40 Year Old Virgin
To be honest, and I mean really honest as I am rather the laughter man, this movie made me laugh more than I have ever laughed. Must be the bizarre mix of sexual jokes with total embaressment that makes my smile bigger and my eyes wetter than ever after seeing a movie.
5
American Pie 2 2001,  R)
6
Scary Movie 2000,  R)
7
Forrest Gump 1994,  PG-13)
Forrest Gump
One of the most warming movies of all time, according to me at least. Tom Hanks sure throw out all the stops as he geniously show us the loving, sweet but "stupid" Forrest's life that sure shows tha anything is possible, almost.
8
The Notebook 2004,  PG-13)
The Notebook
Titanic is still the only movie that has made me cry, The Notebook was very close with its "sad" ending. A warming love story that warms a romantic heart that is mine.
9
Collateral 2004,  R)
Collateral
Wow, when I was to watch this movie I kinda thought it wouldn't be too special; how wrong was I, everything passes so fast and is so evenly constructed I can do nothing but look at it again in outmost awe.
10
Titanic (in 3D) 2012,  PG-13)
Titanic (in 3D)
Is as of yet the only movie that has turned my eyes into a flood of water, though I was just 10 years old seeing it I was rather serious watching movies already then and nothing had made me cry more than the moment I knew that only one came back alive out of the lovey-dovey couple. Well 13 Academy Awards says it all, a movie of true epicness.
11
The Matrix 1999,  R)
The Matrix
It is understandable if some people have a hard for the philosophical stuff of it all but it is undeniably a movie that will leave few unshaken. All through good acting; a sense of seriousness that for the most part in the industry goes too far but here it is kept neatly in a perfect dosage.
12
Gladiator 2000,  R)
13
Sin City 2005,  R)
14
Being John Malkovich 1999,  R)
Being John Malkovich
Need to be watched mutiple times to actually make enough sense, a kind of Vanilla Sky light.
15
8 Mile 2002,  R)
16
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 2002,  PG)
