Hoddie Campbell (hoddiecampbell)

Unsettling, tense, numbing, uncomfortable and taut. I knew nothing of this before viewing and was surprised it was by Lynne Ramsay; then that explained it all, her hallmark direction really delivers this tale in montage flashbacks and rigid uneasiness. Magnificently depressing and Swinton is as ever fantastic as Kevin's wrought mother.

A very, very rare exceptional gem of a film. The cast, score, pace and tension are par excellence. A great ambiguous mystery. Stop reading and watch now.
