My Favorite Movies
These are some of my most favorite movies in no typical order at this point in time. Thanks...Nick. I tend to really enjoy indie film along with foreign films the most. I am not a huge fan of most mainstream hollywood movies. I like high intensity movies with good story line. I enjoy a lot of CGI movies and cartoons too...especially those by Miyazaki. I think that Jason Statham is an amazing actor who is brute and bad-ass in his roles, and I like him along side in Guy Ritchie films.

The Bourne Identity 2002, PG-13)
I like this movie a lot. It is so interesting how Bourne has nothing and knows nothing and yet becomes something so amazing. He possesses these great talents that he doesn't even know that he has until he has to use them in a life or death situation. I like the fast fighting, fast cars and the fast paced story line. |

What a great movie about the understanding of time travel and who better to accompany you then a sadistic bunny. I like the young cast because they really seem naive to what is really going on and it makes it seem so real as they are supposed to be teenagers who are not really wheatered with what the world hold. |

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride 2005, PG)
Again another great Burton film. The animation is so well put togetehr the movements seem so real. On top of that you have Depp and Bonham-Carter teamed with Burton again. These dynamite film noir have together been in a dozen movies...whether it is Bonham Carter and Depp, or Depp and Burton, or Burton and Bonham carter, or the 3 of them together. Greatness comes within these 3. |

Beetlejuice 1988, PG)
Crazy Tim Burton didn't any one tell you that drugs are bad, but the imagination is good. Well someone must have. This is crazy weird and who better to play someone then another of Tim Burtons early actor Michael Keaton? Then there is the lovely Winona Ryder. I like the artistic feat in this movie not to mention the off-the-wall antics. |

Miyazaki is an amazing art director and these movies would be nothing without his great talent and heart for these movies. His directions create so much emotion and love in the charecters that you really feel for them and you want them to continue on like you are a part of them and they are a part of you as well. |

I am not a big James Bond fan at all. I have seen a lot of them and only really liked this one. Maybe it is the 'international' Bond that I liked the best. At first I was enthralled by Daniel Craig being Bond, then I liked him in the movie. I typcially didn't like how they have infinate budget to blow up a hundred-something-thousand car in a matte of moments. |

District B13 (Banlieue 13) 2004, R)
Hands down one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is a pure adrenaline rush. The stunts are amazing how there are people scaling buildings and running up and down walls. The athletic ability alone in these actors is amazing. In foreign movies directors usually find SKILLS to more of an asset then ACTING. It is easier to train someone to act like a detective then it is to train Tom Cruise to scale cliffsides. |
