One of my favorite sci fi films ever. So much color. It has it all, great characters, comedy, action, insane special effects and of course a love story. How can you not fall in love with Leeloo?

My comments just wouldn't do it justice. Incredible movie from start to finish.

So much has been said about this movie theres nothing for me to add. From to begining to end this movie is just......cool.

Soooo many great lines of dialog with such great performances from the cast, not to mention, a cowboy riding a nuke, come on! this movie is just DA BOMB! Pun intended. I can watch this movie 2 billion times before I die and still love it....damn it, this movie deserves a better review from me.

The ending just puts me in such a good mood. I love everything about this film.

Everything about this film just feels true. Even the extended edition of the film isn't long enough for me. I could watch 6 hours of this story.

As great as the original is, I prefer this one. It took the same universe and did a complete 180 on the concept creating one of the best and coolest sci fi action movies ever.

No other film like it. Magical.

Snow speeders vs AT-ATs, "Imperial troops have entered the base". The falcon inside a giant space slug. Yoda, "Do or do not, there is no try". Bobba Fett. Han in carbonite, "I know". Fight with Darth Vader. "I am your father". Lando Calrissian, "They told me they fixed it! Its not my fault!" Cliffhanger ending. Great sequel, great movie.

I think this is the only movie where I just can't pick a favorite character out of ALL of the film's characters, they are all so freaking good. Out of Tarantino's films, this is a very, very close second to Pulp Fiction for my favorite. Highly underrated.

Missed it at the theaters, caught it late one night on HBO, saw it, completely mystified. As soon as it ended changed to one of the other HBOs, caught it starting and saw it again. Completely pulled me in and didn't let go. I'm not smart enough to describe it but I felt it here (points to heart ). Damn that was lame-o.

So they borrowed elements from tons of sources, who cares? This movie is just mind blowing. Copied infinite times, never ever forget as you see countless movies overusing the same special effects and same camera work that this was THE movie that brought it all together to create something that just makes you go "whoa".

So many great movies came out in 1994 I just don't think it deserved the Best Picture or Best Actor awards at the Oscars. Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction or Leon are much better pictures in my opinion. With all that said, this is still one great movie. You go through the whole spectrum of emotions with a marvelous story and incredible acting performances.

This was THE best movie for me back in 1991. I just could not get enough of this movie (I even loved the Guns n Roses video, remember that?). What always bothered me was how you knew from all the advertisements that Arnold this time around was the good guy, would have been a nice surprise.

Incredible movie from start to finish. It is not a perfect film but its minor flaws can easily be forgiven because of its strong performances by the cast, especially Ledger, who does play an amazing Joker, same with the story and directing.

It's better than Batman Begins but still suffers from some of it's weaknesses in fights scenes. It's too chaotic and hard to follow which disappoints me in The Dark Knight more because Batman does more tricks that are harder to appreciate because of it.

They also move Batman more into 007 territory with the amount of gadgets he uses. Seems excessive and it almost gets to the point of ridiculous.

it is not the greatest film EVER as some are making it out to be, it gets 5 stars from me because I'm a huge batman fan, it's better than Begins and it's plain and simple, a good movie...

SPEED! The vehicles, the costumes, the setting, the villains, the heroes, the dog, the action, THE ROAD WARRIOR!!!

Abracadabra. Incredible atmosphere, I was completely into the movie the whole time. Just spectacular.

Ive always been fascinated with magic stories even though I hate real magic acts, I get bored, no real thrill for me, whatever but give me a story of magicians trying to pull tricks off, magic acts gone wrong, a bit of sci fi or fantasy thrown in and I am just fascinated. Who knows...

GET TO THE CHOPPA!!

If you take away the Ewoks this movie is insanely good. Just with the opening sequence in Jabba's yacht its enough but then we have the forest speeders schoooom!, the space battle at the second death star ITS A TRAP! and the climatic battle with Darth Vader and the Emperor LIGHTNING BOLT! Still, lets be fair to the ewoks back when I was a kid I used to love them.

I'm not a fan of Russel Crowe so I completely discarded this movie until I caught it one day on the tube. Oh man, what a great film I was missing out on. Great performances by everyone, especially the kids, great story, awesome music, insane atmosphere. Top notch production all the way.

I missed it on the theaters, what a mistake I'll always regret. Incredible movie, regretably ignored in the Oscars for best picture and director.

Wow. Gotta see it again. My favorite Coen Film so far.

It's the original, the one that started it all with tons of great moments but compared to the other originals, its the "weakest". I like how Darth Vader isn't the top dog in the film and is below the admirals in rank/power.

Being a Batman fan all my life this review might be biased but Nolan has translated to the screen the most loyal rendering of Batman we will probably ever see. Beautifully shot, perfectly acted and greatly written to make it realistic and belivable. My only complaint being the way the fighting scenes were shot and my preference for the agile-martial arts type batman instead of the lurks in the shadow pops in and out batman.

So many great things happened in my life on 1989 and this movie is one of them. If Batman Begins didn't exist this would be rated higher. The bar has been raised.
