Had so much potential of being a great genre film but failed in its script. In one direction it goes as a exploitation/B-movie and the next it tries to gain a lot of credibility. Oh! but how awful was the dialogue. The whole movie almost feels like a one day improvisation. I can easily remember in the car chase scene where a kidnapped character states that he just bought the get-away car and what was the response? "uh, hmmm" like I just forgot what to respond to you. Bad! Normally one would respond with something witty but no it was "uh, hmmm." Maybe, just maybe the intense action sequences and cast filled scenes are a distraction enough to see past this. Maybe

NO STARS. After rolling my eyes for 20 mins I walked out. The premise may have been entertaining when I first saw the original, but at $17 a ticket I am just not sold by the recycled scenes re-edited to some mutant version of the original.
