I laughed, I cried and it is definitely safe to say that I have fallen in love with this movie and Brad Pitt's skills as an actor all over again. Eli Roth was fabulous as well. I spoke to an older woman as I left the theater and she told me she didn't realize that it really wasn't a historical film and just thought Brad Pitt is a hottie and normally she wouldn't go for a movie like this but liked it despite it's crude humor and violence.

Across the Universe
All I can say is that Julie Taymor shows off her most beautiful work ever, showing how amazing of a storyteller she is. The ensemble cast really delivers on all aspects making this rock and roll drama more of a fantastic journey. This is a musical I can watch over and over again even with people that don't particularly like The Beatles, Bono or even musicals. Heartfelt, beautiful and definitely touching, I ran - not walked towards this musical at full speed. This film in my opinion is the best musical that has been made in the last ten years.

Want to see the most beautiful lighting ever? Watch this movie, it is as if each scene's lighting was matched exactly to an eighteenth century masterpiece. (More to be added in the future.)

Some kids watch Disney movies over and over again. I watched The Adventures of Baron Munchausen over and over again. This is my favorite movie from my childhood. The costumes the story, the tale and the writing is great. I find it to be a great family movie.
