The Man Who Cried
pretty slow moving but I think it's actually a really powerful film. It really moved me and I love to be affected in that way.

The Brave 1997,  Unrated)
The Brave
such a moving film. it really affected me in the same kind of way that the man who cried did and I loved that about it. I cried a lot at the end. I wasn't sure what kind of a director johnny depp would be but this film is awesome.

Where the Buffalo Roam
loved it! not quite as good as fear and loathing but only because it just didn't get weird enough for me :P.....well it was weird enough, i just wanted to quote the film.....bit hectic is all. if you're a gonzo fan you should definitely watch it.
10
Ed Wood 1994,  R)
Ed Wood
this film inspired me to be a director. unfortunately i soon discovered i had the talent of neither ed wood or tim burton. i love it anyway. it's so great how it's shot in black and white and the ed wood film scenes in it are so like the original! a great little biopic. added bonus is burton and depp.

The Libertine 2004,  R)
The Libertine
incredible acting! seriously. johnny depp and samantha morton are reeeeeeally good in this film. it is definitely one of johnny depp's best performances. the script is excellent too. sadly not too many people are going to see it though and that's a real shame. not a film for the faint-hearted .....

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street 2007,  R)
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
bloody awesome..no pun intended, it was just really good. i'm really glad tim burton made it so dark-the whole story really benefitted from being burtonised-not that it wasn't good before. the songs are amazing too. i'd never seen the musical, only knew the story, so discovering the songs was a real treat. all the cast are great at singing them as i wasn't sure how it was gonna go. i'd never seen laura michelle kelly in anything before and she was fantastic! also hats off to helena bonham carter-she was a perfect mrs lovett! johnny depp made a really good sweeney todd cause you still felt sorry for him despite the fact he was a lil bit evil. i loved it!!
