One of the best animated movies ever and definitely my favourite so far. It's not just visually stunning, it's not just an almost spiritual experience, it's the state of mind this whole thing manages to put you in. Just great!
This is definitely one of my favorite movies. It's dark, yes, but it doesn't let you feel down for very long. It's funny, smart and it's just a pleasure to watch. Great stuff.
This is one of my favorite movies. The acting is amazing, the direction is flawless and the story seems to simply flow on the screen like no other movie before or since. Amazing.
Interesting movie to watch and Jim Carey's best performance to date. The concept of this movie is one I have been going back to since I watched this movie and still find it amazing.
I have to admit I was never the biggest fan of James Cameron. Somehow his movies never managed to lift me off the ground. But this one has managed to not only lift me off but fly me to a wonderful planet called Pandora. I enjoyed every minute of this movie and not just because of the 3D effects or the beautiful imagery. No, this movie is so much more than that. Its story, basic, yet powerful, is a constant reminder of all those things we don't understand and probably never will. Its plot is also basic and even predictable at times, but still never fails to captivate and move you. This is indeed the best James Cameron film I have ever seen and it's clear he has matured and grown since the days of Titanic. Amazing.
A unique film in many respects. It looks carefully crafted, almost perfect in all respects. Script. plot, acting, directing, and more. The whole thing seems flawless. The audience is captivated and is hard to imagine anyone being disappointed after such a treat. Personally, I loved every minute of it.
Make no mistake, this movie will divide audiences and critics alike. I enjoyed this movie but I had no expectations going into it, one way or the other. Well acted, well directed and well scripted. A masterpiece? Maybe. Only time will tell. All I can say is Martin Scorsese does it again, and this time he takes on a whole different genre. It feels like watching Hitchcock, if Hitchcock lived and worked in the 21st century. It feels like watching a Lynch film, if only those ever made sense. Overall, I cannot speak for everybody, but this kept my interest the whole time and the ending (although not the twist it was supposed to be) really did bring the whole thing together.
