My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2002, PG)
My Big Fat Greek Wedding has always been one of my favorite movies. If you're not European, it's funny to watch how insane they are. If you are European, it's even funnier because you realize that is exactly how your life is. And trust me, if you can't relate to something in this movie and you're European...well, I will say no more. You know it's not an exaggeration, which makes it even funnier. |

Alice in Wonderland 2010, PG)
Ah, Tim Burton. The only person who can pull off such a marvelously beautiful, yet twisted fantasy world. They want to do this with The Wizard of Oz and it simply won't work unless Tim Burton does it. Many people don't like it because it strays from the original story, but that doesn't make it a bad story at all. The performances were brilliant, the scenes were beautiful, and the story was one that captivated you to the end. Usually Once a movie starts to reach the 2 hour mark I get bored, but this time I was wondering why it had to end so soon. |
