Such a crazy and unique story! Two thumbs up!
8
The Condemned 2007,  R)
The Condemned
Besides the fact that my favorite wrestler of all time is in this movie, i was intrigued bye the idea of convicts running around an island trying to kill each other. This movie had a really good story line and a great cast to pull it off. A job well done for Stone Cold's first main role in a film.
9
The Shawshank Redemption 1994,  R)
The Shawshank Redemption
This movie was amazing! Truly a great drama with a great story of hope and redemption. Two thumbs all the way up!

Let the Right One In 2008,  R)
Let the Right One In
Now I am not one for foreign films, but this is one of the best movies I have seen. Based on a book by John Ajvide Lindqvist, it is a great vampire story with such an original mixture of white-knuckling thrills and awkward romanticism. A very interesting movie indeed.
11
Friday the 13th 2009,  R)
Friday the 13th
As a long time Friday the 13th/Jason Voorhees fan, I was afraid when I heard they were doing a remake of this movie. But thankfully it turned out to be really good. Jason had a fresh take in this film for he was faster, smarter, and even scarier than any of the franchise's predecessors. A lot of cheesiness that has become familiar with the Friday the 13th films has been taken out, which is very smart in my opinion. But there is the usual cliche' of unruly teens (or young adults) and of course, sex. Great adaptation, great movie.
12
X-Men Origins - Wolverine 2009,  PG-13)
X-Men Origins - Wolverine
Just like NO ONE could ever replace Heath Ledger's over the top performance as the Joker, NO ONE is better to play Wolverine like Hugh Jackman. This is one of my favorite super hero movies of all time! Great action and sticks closely to the comic storyline.
13
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Masterfully done! Jackie Earle Haley does a wonderful job in giving a fresh new take on the horror icon, Freddy Krueger! I haven't been this scared of Freddy since the very first and original A Nightmare on Elm Street! The newly adapted remake really goes in depth with the Freddy character and just why he is after all of these teens. I was very impressed and pleased with this film. Two thumbs up!
14
Gran Torino 2008,  R)
Gran Torino
Great movie! One of Clint Eastwood's best films ever.
15
Yo-Yo Girl Cop (Sukeban Deka: Codename Asamiya Saki) 2006,  Unrated)
Yo-Yo Girl Cop (Sukeban Deka: Codename Asamiya Saki)
Ok, so I am into these really far-out action, Japanese movies and this one caught my eye. Mainly because I thought the girl on the cover, Aya Matsuura, was damn fine. Easily she is the best thing about the movie. A talented actress and I loved her look in the movie. I thought she fit the part beautifully. The action was pretty decent, but I thought that they could have done waay more pertaining to the fighting sequences. I thought the main villain was a bit disappointing and they could have done a better job casting there, although the fight between main character Saki Asamiya and arch-enemy school girl, Reika Akiyama, was a fight worth watching. All in all a decent movie with some very cute Japanese girls.
16
The Book of Eli 2010,  R)
The Book of Eli
A great movie with an awesome message.
17
Terminator Salvation 2009,  PG-13)
Terminator Salvation
An excellent addition to one of my favorite movie series of all time. Terminator Salvation takes place in the future (after judgement day) where the invasion of the machines has already taken place. There were great references to the first three movies in the franchise, including an impressive CG cameo appearance by Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. Not to mention Christian Bale's portrayal as John Connor and new comer Sam Worthington in a star performance.
18
Saving Private Ryan 1998,  R)
