Night Shift
One of Ron Howards early directorial works. Henry Winkler, Michael Keaton, and Shelly Long are all masterful, yet Winkler stands out as City Morgue attendant Chuck Lumley.
8

Sling Blade
Billy Bob Thornton at his best. Not only did Thornton write and direct this masterpiece, he starred as the lead character, Karl Childers. A mental patient, suffering from a life of abuse as a child, and eventual imprisonment, returns to society only to discover that his world is truly that of the insane asylum as an anti-socialite.Billy Bob Thorton is pure genius.

Rudy
For five foot nothin, 100 nothin, Rudy packs quiet a whallop. The true story of Daniel E. 'Rudy' Ruettiger, and his struggle to make it through one of the toughest, college, football, programs in America....Notre Dame. See Charles S. Dutton in a very limited, but very impressive role as Rudy's friend "Fortune."
