all around great movie. violence, fantasy, philosophy, (about Detroit), good guy that's REALLY bad, and in the end...has some romance and heart. What else could you ask for?

great movie for any guy that's had some problems with dad - but finally understand him and his methods.

always said i would sign up for any war - before they drafted me. Then I saw this movie. Then I asked myself - ARE YOU CRAZY??? Watching Martin Sheen get dragged down into the horrors inside himself is probably the best acting job I have ever seen.

One of the best movies ever made. Extremely foul...one of the foulest movies ever made. BUT, one of the most intelligent movies I have ever seen. It's not important what you believe...but its important to believe.

You can watchthis movie 100 times and you're likely to see something you didn't see or hear in the previous 99 times. Hector Elizondo is the best!!!

These guys are comedic geniuses. Scene after scene has my sides hurting. I don't know how these guys managed to keep a straight face while filming.

You can't list all the star in this movie. Christian Slater is great thru the whole movie. Gary Oldman plays the best character in movie history. Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken have the best scene in movie history. And James Gandolphini and Patricia Arquette aren't far behind.

WOW!!!! Freaky movie. Can't say too much cause it gives it away...but Travis Bickle is one of the sacriest characters in the cinema (up there with De Niro's Max Cady).

WHOA!!!! Claims not to be based on the bible...but there are certainly enough things from the bible. Definitely gets you thinking.

The American educational system sucks. And this movie tells you why. We don't promote creativity and thinking...we teach reguritation of facts, figures and dates. But this movie is so much more than that....teachers inspiring kids. What a concept.

let's actually treat patients like people - not the diseases they have. Novel concept - which it happened more.

If this movie doesn't make you laugh, you have no sense of humor. Tim Robbins best job. He's a good guy, that loves his girlfriend, that's not the brightest bulb and he's fed up, but isn't quite sure what he's supposed to do to to show he's pissed of and not gonna take it anymore.

This may be better than Airplane. One laugh after another.

OH LORD!!!! WHY DID YOU PUT SO MANY A'HOLES ON THIS EARTH??? One of the best characters in movie history.

I think this may be better than the first Hellraiser. The imagery is spectacular.

My 2nd favorite of the Nightmare movies. A movie about making a movie. I love it!!!!

very true to the Clive Barker books. Has a bit of the old Bogart or "B movie" style to it.

funniest animated movie of all time. Robin Williams best (for comedy).

Not sure what I find more distrubing: the people involved with the making of this film or the fact I enjoyed it so much. The actors all make this seem so real and natural and that's what makes this movie so scary.

Great story about a man falling in love with a small Scottish town. Burt Lancaster and his psychologist add a bit of levity.

The search to fulfill the ultimate desire. Sometimes disgusting, but regularly funny. A Cheech and Chong movie for the new generation.

Racial stereotyping runs rampant. While not as good as the 1st, it's still a funny funny.

I actually liked the sequel better (Devil's Rejects), but this movie is just as disturbing.

One man's struggle to keep his honor among many who don't. Liam Neeson and Tim Roth are excellent.

Not as good as I had hoped for, but still a great movie. I have a feeling I will like it more and more every time I see it.

Another good Chrstian Slater role. Rebel radio DJ that inspires a whole town.

Lots of good freaky scenes. Gabriel Byrne is fantastic.
