Any comments that i may say about this film would come short and insufficient.
I totally love it!! ...It's a great story about growing up and getting to know yourself, and staying true to yourself in a judging and imposing world.
The greatest thing about the movie, is that even when it deals with serious issues, sense of humor is not discarded, and the whole story is seen through the perspective of a little girl first, then a teenager, and a young woman, with the idiosyncrasy proper to each.
Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time.

Each and every one of the cast were perfect on each role.
Ledger's performance is remarkable...I'd dare say that Nicholson's been put aside....and I'm not saying this because Heath is dead, oh no!!, to Caesar what is Caesar's
This one of the best movies in years.

The fact that a movie is animated, doesn't mean the story is not important and great, wich is the case here.
Just what happens with comedic movies, animated are so underrated when it comes to awards.

Of all the holocaust movies that I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few, this one did something to me. I don't know what, but as stupid as it may sound, it gave me hope, the strangest kind of hope and an even stranger kind of courage.
But I'm not here to talk about emotions provoked by the film, but the film itself.
Though I didn't quite like the fact that the story was presented as a flashback, its pecata minuta, 'cause the failures were well compensated with the great performances, good script and some breathtaking scenes.

I love this movie!!!!...I don't know why, I just love it...is so inspirational for anyone who has ever dreamed of making movies. Yes, some of the actors were not great but they were OK, I guess.

Haven't laugh so much with any other commercial and predictable comedy...this one is brilliant.
The characters are so endearing, whether they're killers or not, and the actors playing each of them are just perfect for the role.
You can't help but falling in love with Colin Farrell and the whole town of Bruges. ;)

It's a very cute movie, in a weird sort of way.
It's perfect because it has some really nicely done artistic shots, and it's fun to watch, unlike other romantic flicks that are excessively corny.

"Draw all you want, but don't film" - something like that says Carmi to Ari while he's being questioned by the second one about his memories of the war they were involved in, more than 20 years ago.
I must say I can't imagine this film being other than an animated film; I think the animation makes it more believable or realistic, as strange as it may sound.
Most of the movie we're watching representations of memories of several former soldiers, and we see them the way memories and dreams look like in our minds, with different colors, different moods; when we see our memories or dreams we rarely see them exactly as they were, we see them in a more surrealistic way, we can sense the feelings and the moods in them, even though the images may not look as acquaret.
With that said, I don't mean the animation is lame, on the contrary, is one of the best animations I've seen, the selection of colours, body motions and expressions are as perfect as they can be, that at times you even get to forget it's an animated film.
Throughout the movie we ride in a nearly surreal dream, but as all dreams or memories, reality hits you in the end.
