A very interesting story about a woman's mission to change as many lives as she can. There's a lot of light fun scenes, love, morals, and a sad ending.
Great narrations, garment designs, and gore effects (in the places where gore really shows up). This movie creates an intense, violent little world filled with crimes of passion, corruption, and building mob-rage. It's friggin' awesome.
Absolutely amazing. At first the movie starts off so incredibly serious and moving, but then the ending swoops in, and you're all like "OHMYGAA! I CAN'T BREATHE! HAHAHAHA!"
This is one of the few movies that I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. Morgan Freeman's character was hilarious, Paz Vega's overwhelmingly relatable, and the music made me want to go out to a latino supermarket and dance.
Dane Cook is always funny. Now he's sweet too. I especially like that his character is such an unforgiveable ass, and that doesn't change at all throughout the movie, you just come to LOVE his assness.
One of the few movies that I would refer to as perfect, but only if you're interested in the emotional-humor drama. The characters are cute, really capture the reluctance to bluntly address a situation that people can have. And of course...there's tons of awkward, hilarious situations that come about. Really, with a life sized barbie with all the special features, how can there NOT be?
Lola's character really makes this movie work, it's a lovely story. XD And also, if you have the DVD, the deleted scenes are interesting to watch as well.
