Five's Recent Reviews
Snow White and the Huntsman
PG-13
It definitely could have been better, but I liked it. I thought it was a pretty solid effort. Whatever failing the film has a re more than made up for by performances (though Kristen Stewart could have done a better job in parts).
Bully
PG-13
Definitely a must-see film for schools, but it's flawed. There's a fair bit of time showing how little schools do to deter bullying, but not much to investigate why they do so little. For example, a great deal of the filmed bullying takes place on the bus, but the bus driver does nothing to discipline any students (or even to keep students in their seats). The buses also lacked monitors. This was something my bus had as a kid-a volunteer senior who kept kids in line. Do these things not exist anymore?

Citizen Kane
PG
There are a few moments in the film that betray the film as a product of the 1940's (some of the makeup and Dorothy Comingore's performance). Otherwise, this film could have been made yesterday and it would still be a great film.
Arsenic and Old Lace
Unrated
This may be the funniest movie I've ever seen. Cary Grant is over the top and his comic timing is perfect. I seldom laugh out loud at movies, but for the first half of this film I couldn't help myself.
