I don't usually like war films, but this one was brilliant. It had an awesome cast, and it was cool that Jack White got to sing in it. Renee Zellwegger's portrayal of Ruby Thewes was my favourite. The soundtrack is awesome: the song 'Idumea' during the war scene was amazing and a good choice: really haunting. |

Awesome movie. Emily Browning is great in her role of Violet Baudelaire, the eldest sibling. Jim Carey's comedic antics somewhat take away from the movie, detracting from the original story, but overall worth seeing. |
