The Incredibles

Pixar really hit a homerun with this one. Not only is the action hugely entertaining, the script's smart and the whole thing's filled with visual inventiveness. It has to be one of the greatest superhero flicks ever made. I seriously can't understand someone who doesn't like The Incredibles. It's perfect.
Edward Scissorhands

The first Burton/Depp collaboration is also probably the best. Everything in it is so strange and out-of-left field, yet it also manages to be very funny and moving. It feels like a very personal project for Burton (its the most 'pure Burton' of all his films) and remains Depp's best performance.
