brilliant. one of the smartest movies I have ever seen, and one of the best. watching it twice can be a big help becuase of its complex but prefectly crafted story line. a must see

this not only started the greatest movie franchis ever, it also changed the movie makeing industry as we know it today. if it werent for this film some of the greatest directors wouldnt have been inspired by its wonderful story. from what i think, star wars is the greatest story ever told of any kind. and it also has the greatest score in movie making history. star wars is what was, what is, and what always will be.(for movies anyway)

A mindbending tale of obsession. A film is not very suspenseful. But that wasnt Nolan's plan. It was a movie of anticipation, with it all leading up to one of the greatest cinematic plot twists ever. The look and feel of the movie is a dark one indeed, with some great camera work and use of lighting, its no wonder why it was nominated for best cinematography. The acting is some of the best I have ever seen in a movie, led by Christian Bale himself, in a role that only he could make so great. Are you watching closely?

Very easily, one of the best of 2006. Its depressing story is contrasted by hints of humor that bring more originality to the film. Probably one of the best action scenes in all of cinema. A masterpiece that should not be missed.

after watching it a few more times and getting some help from the internet, i finally understand this movie. after i understood it i thought it really was quite amazing. the direction is perfect, and the film itself can even get somewhat creepy at times. this has to be one of the best movies i have ever seen.

i liked it, probly becuase im a huge johnny cash fan. but the acting and singing is great, reece witherspoon might just be a better singer than june carter herself. but over all is one of my favorites
