Best movie ever. This is THE MOVIE. This shows how a film has to be done. Perfection in every scene, in every performance, in every character. The direction is sublime. Gotta love Malon Brando. It's just the movie of movies.
Impressive! it is amazing. the story, and the EDITION, that's the secret of this amazing movie. It has everything, really funny, beautifully directed, a masterpiece of our times.
loved this movie. Johnny Depp is great! Edward is cute and lovable and makes you want to protect him and take care of him. The innocence in his eyes and the beautiful direction by Burton is just sublime. A bittersweet fairytale.
Excellent film! Excellent Performances. This movie made me a Dicaprio fan. I've alway knew he was talented, but his performance here was sublime. I fell in love with so many characters. For starters the unhappy Billy Costigan beautifully played by Leo. Dignam, the vulgar, but honest cop Wahlberg plays. Nicholson with Costello is amazing. Matt Damon proves he can play a total a$$hole in this film. Sheen is such a good character as Queenan. Baldwin is great.
The film is vulgar, cruel, sadistic, just dirty, but it has to be. The direction and the story are great. And the film is just MINDBLOWING! From the first scene to the last is great.
I love this movie! DeNiro's best performance. Travis Bickle is a crazy SOB that wants to be a hero. His motivations aren't clear, or they don't seem enough (at least for me). Even when he becomes a taxi driver, his motive is he has trouble sleeping. Why does he wants to be a hero? He's just tired of seeing the streets so filthy. He gets obssessed. He gets paranoid, but worst of all, he's kind of right. He looks for trouble and finds it. You talkin' to him? You must be talkin' to him.... And you better watch him!
Wonderful film. 3 hours long and it doesn't feel like it. Vito Corleone is an iconic character and he has to be the best character ever. He just makes you love him, all of his scenes are perfect: as a Kid, as young man (played by Robert DeNiro) and as that incredible Don he became (played by Marlon Brando in the first film) he is the representation of someone sweet, generous, powerful and fair. And this is just one character of this movie I'm talking about.
But the overall message of this film is that violence is a cycle, and that it generates more violence, even level headed Michael is a violent person and seems to understand that that is how it works. You should try watchin both this film and the first one a few times, because it's only going to make you like them even more.
Masterpiece in acting, script, direction. Absolutely perfect. Everyone in this film is outstanding, but to me Louise Fletcher as Nurse Ratched is sublime, chilly, disgusting, awful, demanding, and one of the best villains on film ever. That's the best way to describe this film.
Best sports movie ever made. Thorton in one of his best performances. The guys are great too. Believable. Peter Berg has such a beautiful wayto direct this filml. It seems part action film, part documental. and it works perfectly.
Disgusting, beautiful, colourful, violent, different, funny. In spite of everything, this is a beautiful film, full of cynicism and a great lesson: it doesn't matter if our decisions are goor or bad, it's worse to worse to take away the right to choose.
The book is wonderful and surprisingly, so is this film. Joe Wright captures easily and effortlessly the magic of the story. Keira Knightly surpassed my expectations as Lizzy Bennett and Matthew McFaydden is the perfect Darcy. With his mysterious aura, his cockiness, and his vulnerability.
The romance and the tension between Darcy and Lizzy is palpable. McFayden and Knightly do a tremendous job together.
The rest of the cast is amazing. Specially the underrated Donald Sutherland, who gives a subtle but powerful performance as Mr. Bennett.
mindblowing. Spactacular. From scene to scene it catches you. It makes you pay attention. Matt Dillon and Sandra Bullock are great. And suprisingly Ludacris turned out a really good actor with lot of potential.
Fantastic Film. One of the year's best. This film and "The Departed" are, by far, the best films of 2006. Superbly written, wonderfully acted. Clive Owen and Alfonso Cuaron are amazing. This is a touching and scary movie. It is about the goodness of men, hope and the evil in all of us and the reasons we have to act like we do.
Excellent film! Jake Gyllenhaal is creepy, lovable, funny. To me, this is still the best performance of his career. This film is bizarre, funny, different, a little scary and it has a great script and great performances. It deals with a lot of things: being a teenager, love, time travel, tragedy, depression, pedophilia, murder, death, hypnosis, therapy, insanity, and above all, fate. I think is quirky, funny and awesome. I think the moral is that some things are bound to happen for the greater good and that we're all destined to do something whether we like it or not. Maybe to maintain a balance, a structure.
Funny. A great feel good film with a beautiful message: it' good to have people around, friends, family, but specially, people who love us for what we are.
Really good film about overcoming the difficulties of being in a family, becoming a man, and being responsible of holding it together. It has two of the best actors of this generation. Leo and Johnny give powerful performances.
One of the best movies in the last five years. Everyone is amazing. The tension, the violence, the desperation can be felt when watching this film. Everything in this movie is done so well. The ending is so perfect, it's inconclusive, heart-breaking, and hopeful all at the same time.
A wonderful, inventive, charming, cute, weird, loveable love story with a superb direction, amazing script, spectacular cast, odd special effects, and perfect performance. This movie is just plain perfect.
Ameslie is 3 C's: Colourful, cute and charming. What a wonderful love story it is. About the little things and helping people, finding your soulmate, changing your destiny.
Amazing film! Almost 70 years after its release and still causes the same reaction. Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Olivia de Havilland, all deliver fantastic performances. This is the definition aof an epic movie with an epic lead, and of course ha selfish, ambitious, stubborn, modern Scarlett O'Hara. Whom either you hate her or love her it's a one hell of a woman. Almost 4 hours long and it doesn't feel like it.
Outstanding, hilarious. After seeing this film, it's not hard to understand why Pacino is considered one of the best actors to ever grace the movie screen, and it's hard to not feel sad abou tha amazing John Cazale.
