Evil, fun, young, dark. The performances, the music, the story. This is a very entertaining film.

I remember when "Iron Man" was released in 2008, I was very entertained and charmed and happy to see such a cool superhero movie. I think my only complaint was that I thought the villain was undeveloped. Well, The Avengers has that first Iron Man movie feel to it: it is awesome and charming and explosive and hilarious and it is thanks to the cool especial effects, the charismatic actors, the witty script and the direction; all held together by Joss Whedon, the ultimate comic fan turned film director. And it also has Tom Hiddleston's Loki, who is actually a good match for Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

The reason I'm giving this explosive, funny, awesome film 5 stars is because it is what it should be: fast-paced, showy, hilarious (yes, I will repeat it again), and it has a Hulk! It's just SO.MUCH.FUN.
