Titanic (in 3D)
One of my all-time favorite movies and love stories! Exceptionally good and very realistic special effects. Rollercoaster ride of action, spectacle and romance. I fell in love with Leo in this movie. Love it!

The Color Purple
By far, one of the best black films of all time! I know this movie backward and forwards and never tire of watching it again and again. Love an underdog story like this with such moving, stellar performances by Whoopi, Oprah, and Shug Avery. A+

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
My favorite of the 3 LOTR films. I can watch all 3 again and again. Beautiful love story, epic proportions, great adventure, light humor, drama, it's got it all! No movie collection is complete without the whole set!

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Great sequel. Hated waiting to see all 3, but worth the wait once I saw each of them.

The Shawshank Redemption
OMG, the ending makes the seemingly long, slow-moving story well worth the wait! Definitely one for the collection. A must see, especially for those who love prison movies. Raw and riveting.
8
The Dark Knight 2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
Greatest of all Batman movies so far!
9
Imitation of Life 1958,  Unrated)
Imitation of Life
Tear jerker, racially charged... if you love to cry when watching movies, this is a perfect fit. So sad, but a great movie from long ago to watch...
10
Facing the Giants 2006,  PG)
Facing the Giants
Incredibly moving, heartwarming, brought me to tears a few times. I love the positive message of hope and faith in Jesus Christ to help us conquer our fears and win any battle. This film didn't cut corners at all on the religious aspect, which I appreciate and respect. I don't tend to like sports movies, because I'm not all that big a sports fan, but this one supercedes my usual indifference by a longshot. I absolutely loved it! An absolute must-see for all families and anyone who just needs some encouragement - in this day and age, especially now with the economic disaster, we all do. Expect to get lifted by the end of this film. The resounding message was: Don't quit! Don't give up! You have what it takes to win if you keep fighting and trust God!
