My Favorite Movies

Makes me drift away to Berlin..Perhaps a little too long, but it's a perfect mix of fun, drama and poetry.. Great score by Yann Tiersen!

Great flick that doesn't feel outdated even though it's been around fifty somewhat years.. And of course, the scene where Marilyn does her famous Diamonds-song is fabulous and one can't help but to sing along..

Truly amazing, I could see it a thousand times and I'd still love it just as much. Great Soundtrack as well.

Yes, oh yes. How I wish for a life of the likes of this. But why on earth were we deprived of Marie-Antoinette's head in the guilloutine?!

Utterly amazing..what else could one possibly say?

I've seen this film a thousand times it seems. And I'm just as scared every time i see it.

I love this. Sometimes I can't even see Marion Cotillard, it's as though the spirit of Edit came down to Earth again.. Strong performance, strong scenery and of course strong music. If you have a personal relationship with Piaf's music, you might find yourself leaving the movietheatre in tears when "Je ne regrette rien" ends the film.

This is a job well done. Perfect mix of splendid actors and a well-written story. It has a little touch of everything!

A love-story covered up in the tragedies of the era of Stalin. Beautiful scenery that fills my heart with nostalgia..

I think just about everybody was in this movie, and three of my favourite male actors made my visit to the theatre that night somewhat wonderful. For the combination of Robert Downey JR, Jake Gyllenhaal and Mark Ruffalo was perfect. I was especially impressed by the latters performance, if you've seen Ruffalo in "The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" you'll know what I mean when you see this.
Zodiac is an exquisite piece of work, Fincher's attention to detail in this film is somewhat impressive. I will especially keep the wardrobe in mind, the clothing looked so authentic.
All in all, I left the movie theatre just before midnight, feeling impressed, in love with Ruffalo, frightened and looking over my shoulder while walking from the car into my flat.
I really, really like it.

All I can say is "Wendy Balsam" - what a fabulous name! And the scene where Gallo's desperate for a toilet in his red shoes, aaaww - who could not like that?

Nothing can measure up to dear old Charlie..

This is one of the few cool Swedish flicks you can find out there. So go see it! [Longer comments coming up!]

I've never seen such colours and such beautyshots of a ship before! This is pure pleasure and it does not feel like it lasts three whole hours. Marlon Brando is superb!
And how I miss those technicolor days..
