District 9 2009,  R)
District 9
The "morality" storyline was weak, there were a few too many character inconsistencies and I don't think the handheld / documentary style of shooting were totally necessary, but those flaws aside this was an extremely entertaining and satisfying movie.
32
All the Pretty Horses 2000,  PG-13)
All the Pretty Horses
I'm surprised at how much I was riveted by this film in spite of its slow pace. I enjoyed the story, the acting, and thought that the Matt Damon/Penelope Cruz romance worked really well.

Billy Bob - I get you (even if none of the critics out there do).

Arlington Road 1999,  R)
Arlington Road
Atypical but awesome ending, and well acted throughout by Bridges and Robbins. I was also a huge fan of Joan Cusack's character. Very thought-provoking for a terrorist / conspiracy theory movie, but loses points for relying a little too much on coincidence and for a few unexplained holes.
