My Favorite Movies
Magnolia is probable the best suburban film noir I have seen, it portrays the intertwiddling lives of people whose inner turmoil is depilitating yet nostalgic. Brilliant movie with one of Tom Cruise's best performances. John C Reilly is also superb in it!

In Bruges 2008, R)
I loved this movie. it was dark and very funny in parts. The morality of taking a life and paying for it with ones' own life has never felt so poignant. Great script too! |

Angela's Ashes 1999, R)
Marvellously documented movie, Tells of the early childhood of one Frank McCourt whom against the backdrop of famine, disease and conflict triumphs and realises his dream of going to America come true. It is often the courage in the face of hopelessness coupled with lightheartedness which makes this a much more compelling draw. Very moving indeed! |
