The Nightmare Before Christmas 1993,  PG)
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Tim Burtons best movie! An unconventional holiday film that has received cultlike status among the alternative crowd. My favorite characters? Barrel the dimwit the chubby fat boy, zero and of course Sally!
5
Edward Scissorhands 1990,  PG-13)
Edward Scissorhands
Johnny Depp is at his freaky best! And that guy is one giant, awkward freak! This fairy tale like romance is one the sweetest and saddest movies I have ever seen...too bad Winona Ryder has such a hideous coke whore looking blond wig YIKES!
6
Garden State 2004,  R)
Garden State
If for no other reason this movie is great for Natalie Portman alone who looks 15 in the movie but plays the pathological liar Sam. Zach Braff is great in this Jersey based film that makes crappy people from Jersey interesting...and yes a very brief titty shot for the perverts.
7
The Virgin Suicides 1999,  R)
The Virgin Suicides
One of the pretties movies and my favorite Sofia Coppola movie. A sad story of blondes gone suicidal....must be hard being upper middle class and attractive who knew?
8
The Blue Lagoon 1980,  R)
The Blue Lagoon
A sweet film, despite the fact that the two teenage lovers are FIRST cousins! A pretty look at underage love...minus the crabs, pregnancy and pist off fathers....unrealistic, but oh so romantic!
9
The Shape Of Things 2003,  R)

Starter for 10
I think this is a charming film. I like seeing indie pics from other countries especially the UK. I think they have less of the airbrushed beautified actors. I liked the story of the dorky Brian and his clumsy attempts at the University, plus the soundtrack is pretty good! I
