A new testament of man.Dazzling,intellectually challenging and breathtaking.From the dawn of man thru the stargate and rebirth into the embryo.The modelSFX still hasn't been bettered despite CGI....the 4,000,000year jump cut from the apeman's bone to a spacecraft...the blue Danube waltz...open the pod bay doors Hal!...Daisy,Daisy,Da-i-s-yyy...the stargate.Brilliant!

The grimy,seedy world of the bent Unions and docks were never more eloquent than this.Brando gives one of the greatest screen performances on celluloid ever...He weren't a bad kid that Joey[a canary]{yeah he could sing but he sure couldn't fly!}...You aint so funny tonight fatman!...I coulda been a contender....the fight with Lee J Cobb...the stagger up to work.

The gangster movie no one can refuse...Hey,I don't want to see my brother coming out of that toilet with just his dick in his hands!...Luca Brazi sleeps with the fishes...leave the gun,take the cannoli...Fredo,You're my brother and I love, you but don't ever take sides against the family again!...the horses head...Sonny's toll booth death...I'm gonna get some fruit.

Sags a little in the middle but this is an awesome addition to Godfather 1.De Niro a perfect young Vito and Pacino as Michael,the new Don is sensational(it was only his 3rd film!)....Scicily...Fennucci...I'll make him an offer he can't refuse...Cuba...don't let anything happen to him while my Mother's still alive...it was an abortion Michael!

Vienna...the sewers...the zither music...Harry Lime...that cuckoo clock analogy.....A British masterpiece!

Play it again,and again,and again...this routine B picture has entered film mythology.Every element of a good movie is encapsulated in this wartime intrigue...We'll always have Paris...Round up the usual suspects(mmm make a good film out of that line)...the police commissioer taking his winnings after closing Rick's club for gambling!...here's looking at you kid...oily Peter Lorre...seedy Sydney Greenstreet...Louie this could be...etc. Timeless.

Director Hanson did a remarkable job in transforming Ellroys labyrinthine tome into a modern noir classic.Crowe,Pearce,Spacey,De Vito,Cromwell & Bassinger are perfect in this expose of the corrupt LA of the '50's...the persuasion(sic)by Crowe on the DA to cough up...Spacey's ill-judged redemption...the shoot out at the Victory motel.

Spielberg's best movie.A tight economical and terrifying(preceding Jaws)chase thriller.What happens when you innocently overtake an oil bowser on a deserted stretch of highway...you become the mouse and a frightening lorry is the cat....the first sight of the smoke belching vehicle...accusing the wrong driver in a diner...the radiator hose blowing...bite your nails folks!

More suspense than Hitch,more menace than Quent and more drama than Lean.A one-armed stranger gets off the train in Nowheresville and the town hides a secret...Spencer Tracy getting the cold shoulders...sinister Robert Ryan...evil Lee Marvin...Tracy's humilation of Borgnine in a diner.

A fresh snarling doberman of a film...Madonna's big dick...someone is sticking a red hot poker up my ass and I want to know whose name is on the handle...nice guy Eddie's tight trousers...I bet you're a big Lee Marvin fan...Stuck in the middle with you...if I were a butt cowboy I'd have you as my bitch...Mr Brown? that's a little too much like Mr shit.

Wrongly perceived as a sloppy Xmas sentimental favourite.This has very dark tones to it but it's beautifully done and brings out the goodness of humanity(as well as the bad)....you're brother never lived because you weren't there to save him.Watch it and weep.

It's hard to sell this quirky one-off to anybody.The plot as such is 2 out of work actors who share a shabby flat.They try to keep warm,drink,then wait for the next Giro..that's it!But it is so idiosyncratic and funny with almost every line of dialogue quotable...I demand some booze!...Ponce!...Scrubbers!...Monty,you utter cunt!...Don't threaten me with a dead fish!...the squalid kitchen sink...the fucker will rue the day!

Every leader of every religion should be forced to watch this brilliant comic satire just to show how idiotic they are....You really have got a big nose...Biggas Dickus...You lucky,jammy bastard...What have the Romans ever done for us?...No Wuldoph the wed nose weindeer-No Thpencer Twaceythies...hans up all those who don't want to be crucified?...The bright side of life....

They don't come any funnier than this.The sublime comedy duo on peak form...the soft shoe shuffle...Is it true,that my Daddy's dead?{Stan;Well I hope so cause they buried him!}..Trail of the Lonesome Pine...Ollie's neck stretch...the mule...Now you're taking me illiterally.

Is there really anybody out there who hasn't seen and loved this marvellous hollywood feast?...If I Only Had A Brain...the wicked witch...Over The Rainbow...the munchkins...toto...ruby slippers...And of course,"there's no place like home".

Burgess & Kubrick got the futuristic(now)Britain spot on with this wry,black comedy.McDowell was inspired casting and the music,editing and direction masterful. It was a shame we had to wait for the director's death before we could catch it on the big screen again.

Tremendous slice of Americana.Funny,thought evoking,chilling and uplifting despite the downbeat tone.Eclectic soundtrack and ensemble acting make this an all time classic.

The late great Welles' seedy,oily B-picture.Full of cinematic touches only the big man could conjure up.Police corruption and brutality down Mexico way...the bravura opening tracking shot...the litter filled grimy streets...the menacing Mercedes Cambridge...Marlene...He vas hellava man!

Incredible war pic.Must be seen on big screen and surroundsound.From a nightmare production came a classic....Saigon-shit!...terminate with extreme prejuidice...ride of the Valkryies...the tiger....playboy models in the midst of hell...the horror-the horror.

As soon as those huge titles appear and that Steiner music swells we are begining a cinematic experience of awe and entertainment par excellence.It has no pretenders.The whole production is skilled film making...Oh fiddly dee!...the burning of Atlanta...Rhett's grief...Tara...Tomorrow is another day!...Quite frankly my dear......

One of the funniest films.A gagfest of disaster cliches...and don't call me Shirley!...the Saturday night fever parody...what do you make of this Johnny[well I could make a paper hat...]...I guess it's the wrong time to quit smoking,etc...do you ever hang around gymnasiums?...the infatable co-pilot.

Willis was never better in this macho,testosterone fuelled action thriller...welcome to the party pal!...get me those detonators...you ought to be on fucking TV with that accent...tell me you got that,right?...Let it snow,let it snow...

Harrowing true account of a Nazi supporting spiv saving Jews without profit,a one armed machinist,Schindler?...Goth using workers as target practice...the Williams music...I could have got more out!...the tearjerking end.

Any film comedy that Mussolini had banned has to be great.Marx brothers at their unique.All brothers are on form-even Zeppo!Groucho makes war with Sylvania just for the heck of it...the peanut stand...the mirror gag...I can see you cooking over a hot stove-but I can't see the stove!...Chico & Harpo as useless spies...the court martial.

From Herrman's menacing jazzy music to Travis Bickle's denouement this is unsettling stuff...writing that he needs to get fit whilst pouring whiskey on his cereal!..taking Cybill Shepherd to a porno flick on a first date...go back to your tribe...Peter Boyle as Wizard.

One of the great westerns.Gary Cooper may have been wooden but he was perfect in this highly tense(and much aped)oater...that title song that recurs throughout...cowardly Lloyd Bridges...snarling Lee Van Cleef...Grace Kelly...pouting Kate Jurado.

A unique one-off.Forget hockey masks and bladed fingers...No one scares the shit out of you more than Robert Mitchum with just tattoos on his knuckles and a flick knife...Children!...I'm gonna gut you like a hog boy!...the eerie scene where Mitchum across the river sings and Lilian Gish joins in on her rocking chair with a shotgun.

The Coens hit the jackpot with this bleak comedy/thriller...I'm not going to debate you Jerry...I want pancakes now!...he looked kinda funny...you betcha,yah....you can't beat Jose Feliciano....I,I,Iii'm cooperating with ya here.

Tarantino's triumphant...er how do you descibe it?..punch drunk boxer, toe massaging hoods,how to clear up an accidental headless body...Chuck Berry...let's not suck each others dicks just yet...he kept this watch up his ass...pigs taste good-bacon tastes good...Oh may I retort!

What can you say?Perfecto!The quintessential L&H film.The timing and delivery of gags are a wonder to behold...Heave[Ho]...{maid;"He kicked me in my daily duties!][embarrassed cop coughing"oh he kicked you did he?]...those steps...the little dance to the pianiola...where dya get the hat?...just sign here!

Scorcese at his zenith.quasi-violent small time mafioso...if that kid get's another letter from school-in the fucking oven you go!...funny how?(the most nail bitingly tense scene on film)...hey I got a leg and an arm,what'dya want Henry an arm or a leg?...where's my fucking drink Spider?...the soundtrack...the acting.

When I first saw this at the cinema,people were in hysterics before it started!...Run away!...Knights who say"Ni"...French taunting...the rabbit...the invincible black knight...velocity of a swallow....

As in real life(Cuban missile crisis)the idea of nuclear armeggedon isn't funny...and yet.A genius satire of the sheer madness of the subject.Sellers totally believable in 3 roles...you can't fight in here-this is the war room!...look at me Jack,you might call me a sort of water person...Mein Fuhrer! I can Vark!...I think you're some kind of prevert...Pickens riding the bomb lile a rodeo rider...Eeehaaaa!

Perhaps the saviour of the movie industry.Young Spielberg created a rollercoaster of fear and thrills that's stood the test of time....you're gonna need a bigger boat!...the reverse dolly zoom on Scheider...the bitching between Shaw&Dreyfus...smile you son of a bitch!

Kubrick's first materpiece is a scathing indictment about the cruelty of trench warfare. The Frog's banned it for years.Soldiers being shot for cowardice because of top brass whimsy of gaining a few yards...the over-the-top scenes...the poor sod having to be woken out of unconciousness only for the firing squad...your men have skimmed milk in their veins...the end song by the future Mrs Kubrick.

A REAL cult movie...Newman just brilliant...Shaking it here boss!...what we got here is a failure to communicate...50 hard boiled eggs...where did the road go?...when a man's mother dies and he gets to think about the funeral and all-he gets rabbit in his blood...well sometimes having nothing can be a real cool hand...What did he look like Drag?[he was smilin' he had it on him til the end]

Much imitated,never bettered.Hitch pulled off one of the greatest coups by killing off his leading lady mid film.God knows how many times I've watched this but when poor old Martin Balsam gets it at the top of the stairs I still jump!...Perkins...the curious cop following Leigh...Herrman's music(only strings were employed)...I could'nt even hurt that fly..Miles discovering'Mother'in the cellar...and THAT shower.

Superb...Plastics!...are you trying to seduce me Mrs Robinson?...the hotel...Simon & Garfunkel...can we at least talk this time Mrs Robinson?...Elaine!!!!!!

This was the Reservoir Dogs of it's day.Ultra violent Cagney who still can sit on his Ma's lap is riveting(as usual)...kicking the chair from under his moll...the motel shoot out...callously shooting a gang member in the trunk of a car...prison...Made it Ma- top of the world!

No one swashshed a buckle like Errol and he swashes big time in this fantastic adventure movie.The Technicolour,the music and the set design all awesome...Gisbourne's humiliation in the forest...Tuck's first encounter with Hood...Hood escaping the feast...the sword fight on the stairs.

The poster is probably better known than the film which opened to bad press.It's powerful and extremely violent...say hello to my little friend...the chainsaw incident...Pacino's unhealthy love for his sister.Say hello to my little friend!

Clint's magnificent brooding western(possibly saved the genre).A cracking script with an ensemble to die for Eastwood,Hackman,Freeman and Harris...It's true I killed women and children and anything that god damned crawled the earth-now I've come to kill you little Bill!...Poor Harris on the end of Hackman's boot...Freeman bottling it on the shooting.

Archetypalt Bogart.John Huston creates the perfect private dick mileu.A complex plot about a black statuette that ropes in Sydney Greenstreet and Peter Lorre....You'll be slapped and like it!...Mary Astor not fooling Bogie whatsoever.

A unique gem.Not really horror or supernatural but well...something else!...the wonderful music...Woodward...Ekland's butt double...Chris Lee in a frock...see the wee beetle go round and round...the zany maypole ritual...the wickerman being set alight.

Well do you feel lucky punk? Strong Don Siegel cop thriller with big Clint in ace form as maverick cop.Andy Robinson makes a smirking sniper...For chrissakes Harry that's the mayor!...Big Mary...You know she's dead already?..hey, I's got to know. Harry foiling bank robbers at the onset.

Base,puerile and hilarious...I got worms!...the chillis...petey...on the toilet...shut your mouth you pumpkin headed freak!...sea bass...oh look ice!...nice hooters!...mock-yeah-ing-yeah-bird-yeah...

Kubrick was set to direct but Brando's only directing job was this lush,moody and sado masochistic western.Ravishing photography...Brando sporting the tightest pants long before Nice Guy Eddy!...the shoot out in the desert...the whipping...the seduction of Malden's daughter...the jail break.

Indiana Jones...Schmones!This is one of THE great adventure movies of all time.It's a moral fable about loyalty,friendship and greed.Director Huston cast his Father brilliantly as the wise old codger and Holt as Curtin the naive but amicable chancer and of course Bogie who succumbs to that old devil called greed...Walter Huston's Eureka!dance(it resurfaced in "City Slickers")...Dobbs muttering to himself...the bandits...when the gold blows back to the hills and laughter is sought.

The extraordinary R.Lee Ermey's frightening turn as a drill Sgt. makes the battle scenes later on look like a holiday.For once the great innovator Kubrick was playing catchup.Several 'Nam movies had preceded his but this is still a strong entry into the genre...the days of finger banging old Mary Jane rotten crotch are over...I like you,you can come over an fuck my sister!...one jelly doughnut...where's your war face?...is that you John Wayne-is this me?

The best sword and sandals epic since "Spartacus" A most impressive work with vets Harris & Reed complimenting the new Turks Crowe & Phoenix.My history may appear tyo be a little vague...but aren.'t the Carthegians meant to lose? ..Single file...

Truly a great piece of work, as dimuntive, laconic Alan Ladd helps the homesteaders...the bar fight...Jack Palance...soda pop...this story of a loner(think-Pale Rider) has been copied endlessly in movies but never bettered.

As about as realistic as it goes...depressing sink estate life...the bullying...the hopelessness...the cane...Brian Glover...Collin Welland who cares...film making as a reflection of life.

A much loved British comedy classic.The team of Hay,Moffat and Marriot rivalled any of the American stuff...You're wastin' your time!...the windmill...the pub fight...One eyed Joe.

One of the best movies of the'70s.Huston(who plays a pivotal role)& Bogart would have nodded approval of this slick private eye noir.Beautifully executed in all depts...Polanski slitting Nicholoson's nose...the chase in the orange grove...Huston deliberately pronouncing(Gitts for Gitties)Jake's name...the dark secret of Dunaway/

This invented the teenager.It gave youth a voice and an image that still manifests...switchblade fight...the chicky run...Dean's spot on impersonation of Mr Magoo(an in-joke because Jim Backus who played Dean's Dad was the voice of the cartoon)...Moooohhh!

The last great conventionally animated film(first ever to be Oscar nominated).After this "Toy Story" rewrote the rules...Belle's opening number...Be our guest..the boorish hunk Gaston...the ballroom dance.

An utter bum clencher with many poor rip offs.the voice of the devil Mercedes Cambridge is so scary...the head turning...the er crucifix...the profanity...the subliminal face of Satan.

A lot of critics hated it.Stephen King was so incensed he made his own version which stank but horror does'nt come anymore frightening than this.
All work and no play...things are a little slow tonite Lloyd...Here's Johnny!..redrum,redrum...the twins...the old hag in the bathroom...would you like some ice cream Doc?

The twist ending to die for.A motley bunch of crooks brought together for a police line up then forced into a major score...the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to make people think he didn't exist...who is Kayser Soze?...the stitching up of corrupt cops...THAT ending.

Cracking pre-Hollywood Hitch...Did Lockwood see an old lady aboard the train?...Nauton & Radford as the crotchety stiff upper lip cricket buffs...Dame Whitty...Lukas as the charming,suave Doctor...the thrilling finale .

Revolutionary form of animation is just the bonus to a marvellous story crammed with memorable characters with a roster of prime voice over cast...using Lee Ermey(Sgt in Full Metal Jacket)to voice the leader of the toy soldiers...Randy Newman...Sid!...we have been chosen!...To infinity and beyond!

Incredble Spanish fairy tale done with much cinematic skill and force.The violence is very realistic.

The irrascible Fields in full grouchy glory.Plots never mattered in the great man's films...Carl Le Fong...baby LeRoy tormenting...Kumquats!...the motley family unit.

Only the Coens could get away with a bizzare plot such as this.It's like a weird dream Dali might have had and told Raymond Chandler...that rug really held the place together...shut the fuck up Donny!...black Russians...Goodman vandalising the wrong car...the Dude.

Seminal Hitchcock thriller,a template for future film makers...Mr Memory...escaping from the train...snooty Carroll...Up-for-it Donat...where are the 39 steps?

I for one will NEVER canoe in hillbilly country after seeing this.Reynolds finest hour...Duelling Banjoes...squeal like a hog! Eeeeek!...you sure gotta perty mouth boy...get them panties down boy!...you never beat the river.

Despite the hoary old script,the annoying brats and Lord Dicky's dodgy accent,this is a terrific action/thriller/horror.The dino's really did look real on the big screen...the lawyer taking his last dump...Jeff Goldblum...aah,no wonder you're extinct!...Laura Dern's reaction shot when first seeing the huge reptiles...she looked like she'd spotted a frog!

A rarity.A classic British gangster flick.Caine is never better as he avenges his brother's death oop North...the cat fight in the club...You're a big man but out of shape now behave...Osbourne as Mr Big...the old biddy next door seeing Caine naked but for a shotgun...Roy Budd's score.

That music..Tom,Dick & Harry...Good luck!...McQueen's bike ride...Bronson getting claustophobic...Pleasance spotting the needle...Vee are keeping all our bad exggs in von basket...Coburn's Aussie accent...the esape itself...the tragedy. Viva La Bank Holiday!

Have seen this in cinema and it's a treasured DVD. Those who haven't...you are missing something special!

A zenith in oddball Lynch's wacky career...Hopper as Mad Frank...Stockwell miming to Orbison's"In Dreams"...Call me Daddy shithead!...finding an ear...Rosselini...Fuckin' Heinekin!...do you want to see the chicken walk?

This film and "Bullitt"are chiefly remembered for their car chases which is criminally unfair on both.This has it all,violence,intrigue,humour and lots of action.Popeye Doyle in plain clothes(a Santa suit!)...the gritty slummy NY locations...the stakeouts...Rey as the sophisticated crook..Yes-THAT chase.

Lancaster is blinding in this tragi-thriller.Incredible stunts and crashes.Action upon action plus sensitivity in the right places...poor driver Bull being rumbled in sabotage...the train crashes...duping a German soldier in to believing he is in the right towns...Lancaster limping to derail train...evil massacre of innocents in the name of art.

There's not a flaw in this ribald classic...Monroe oozing sex appeal...Curtis's Cary Grant personna...Lemmon enjoying being a woman...Raft taking the Mick out of himself...and of course that last line---Nobody's Perfect!

The movie that ended the career of one of our most innovative film makers.Much too dark and complex for cine goers of the day and if it were'nt for Scorcese it might have been forgotten.A boy tortured by his Father grows to be a sick killer...the POV camera that closes in on it's unwitting victims.

With B-movie credentials this is a terryifying Brit horrorshow.Tourneur was a master of this genre and the SFX for it's time very impressive.Niall MacGinnis as a magician at a children's party...the sphinctre clasping drive down a dark lonely road.

Herzog made a crazy film based on a real life crazy guy who transported a huge boat across a jungle to build an opera house.The direcor and the ever volitile Kinski tried to kill each other during the shoot but the results are mesmerizing...the lifting of the boat over a mountain.

Parker has amassed a bunch of unknowns and created a memorable docu musical...the auditions...Joey the lips...U2 must be shitting themselves!...the soundtrack...I'm black and I'm proud!...Andrew Strong singing"Try A Little Tenderness"and improving on Otis.

The definitive version of the famous yarn.It's Laughton's show all along...Bligh ordering punishment on a sailor who is already dead!...Cheese Mr Christian?...Tahiti...And I'll go and count the coconuts...You're sending me to my doom!..Mr Christian!!!

Zero budget winner.Funnier than all 7 Police Academies put together and think what they cost to make...the gum salesman...you sucked all those dicks!...Jeff Anderson ordering porn in front of an irate woman with a kid...selling fags to a child.

Whale(from Dudlay)gave what could have been a routine Horror pic much heart and thought.It really isn't a horror film when you see it but a fable on good and evil...OTT Clive"it's Alive!"...ygor...Karloff..makes you sympathise with him...the angry mob...the little girl...the blindman with no prejudice.

The Slo-mo action may seem old hat these days but Sam the man ended the John Wayne type western for good and as action movies go this rocks(did I really use that phrase?) A grisly bunch they are too...the opening shoot out in the street whilst a temperance rally is marching...finding washers instead of gold...Ryan's pursuit with a gang of inbreds...the smile on Borgnine's mug when preparing to be killed.

For once Bill Murray has been given a tailor made role for his lugubrious,dour dry wit...Ned!...pigging out in a diner...taking the pee out of the landlady...Sonny & Cher...

This made the world sit up and notice Brit cinema.It ended the reign of plummy English toffs and whimsical charm offensive and Gor Blimey low classers.Finney is enigmatic as the rebellious factory hand...shooting the nosy fat neighbour up the arse with an air gun...shagging his supervisor's missus...the realistic pub scenes.

With several nods to Stan & Ollie this is an hilarious comedy.Lane and Evans a choice duo...the mouse riding the gouda...the traps...the auction...Christopher Walken show stealing again...the cockroach.

Those Farrelley's hit pay dirt with some cringe inducing comedy. All the leads are in top form and Lee Evans on crutches would have done Stan Laurel proud.

It ended the Elvis/Cliff type of crap musical thank god and this was sheer exhilirating fresh air.The boys were at their most likeable and their music reaching artistic prominence amonst the high brow.Lester was oh,so the right director for this...the snotty train passenger...Isn't he clean?...Are you a Mod or a Rocker?[Ringo]I'm a Mocker!...the "Can't Buy Me Love" playing field romp...It virtually invented the rock video.

A mixture of a sort of snob "Dirty Dozen"and"Reservoir Dogs".It's a superb film with a ensemble cast.Hawkins dominates but each 'recruit' does their bit...the establishing of each charachter...the shaming by Hawkins of everyone...the theft of arms from under the army's nose..the robbery...the damning phone call...At ease gentlemen!

A little gem among the canon of horror films.For once Price resisists the urge to send himself up and is genuinely chilling.And the rest of the Z=rated cast perform exemplary...the realistic hangings...the British countryside.

Not the great film you think it is but who cares?..Bladdy doors...the minis...Noel Coward...the mafia...Benny Hill...The south preservation society...the cliffhanger(literally)climax...Fred Emney.

Wow!If any film could put you off hard drugs-this is it.Dismal,downbeat,sordid,viscious,cruel but incredible film making...Renton swapping videos...Spud's er accident...the worst toilet in Scotland...where's the Kerrrdz?...and Begby(sorry, that's Mr Begby sir!)

Scorcese's version had more violence and style but Mitchum's Cady is psychologically more menacing and frightening...that Mitchum walk to court...Counsellor!...Cady's mischevious play for a bowling alley waitress...Telly Savalas with hair...the school scenes...the houseboat finale...Herrman's score(used note-for-note in the remake).

If you are not charmed by this...make a noose now!Disney staff's skilled cartoon...the haughty elephants who scorn the little fellow..poor Mrs Dumbo's isolated internment..(sob)Baby of mine...the crows...Timothy Mouse...When I See An Elephant Fly"

Based on truth, Malick imbues almost a romantic portrait of a callous killer.But as a movie it is so good."True Romance" was a blatant rip off(even the music)of this...Sheen's dance to "Love Is Strange"(a precursor to Blonde's "Stuck In The Middle"?)...coldly blasting Spacek's Father in front of her...the cops glowering in Sheen's presence.

This must have pissed old Adolph off some what.A corking comedy and Benny was never better.A propoganda masterpiece....Heil Me!

He looks so f*****g good and sings some of his greatest songs courtesy of Lieber&Stoller...it's just the beast in me!...the title track routine...his clothes...Baby I Don't Care...Don't Leave Me Now.

I recently watched the mega dollar remake and it was noisy,spectacular for sure but lacking the mystery and passion of the now antique 1933 classic...it was beauty that beat the beast...the fog...Kong fighting prehistoric creatures...the still impressive(for it's time)SFX...atop of the Empire State builing.

Along with Grouch,Fields is my hero.They prick the pomposity balloon with their razor sharp wit and their quotes are now stuff of legends.You really cannot describe a Fields plot line-there 'aint none!..Ogg Oggleby...his spat with his 'family'at the start...Godfrey Daniel!(Fields way of getting around censorship)...his saloon dialogue...the car chase(apart from the rear projection)that's every bit as good as Bullitt,et al.

Sorry Connery geeks but I like Moore,much more.Old eyebrows has never taken himself seriously in all his great TV and movie roles and his portrayal of 007 is so camp(remember THAT yellow jum suit?)it made his Bond outings fun and enjoyable...looking somewhat out of place in NY slum...escaping over the crocs(the stunt man only just made it!)...the double decker bus chase...that weird voodoo bloke...McCartney..Clifton James..the speedboat chase.

Wasn't really that well recieved by critics but I think it was bloody funny...Bart & Homer fixing the roof...Bart's nude skateboarding...Comic book guy at the rock gig...leaving nude Bart cuffed outside a diner.

It's up there with"Mean Streets","Goodfellas" & "Donnie Brasco".Scorcese at last rewarded.De Caprio is a revelation and Jack N..well he's Jack period.You never see what's coming next which is a rare skill in movies.
