Terminator 2: Judgment Day 1991,  R)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
This was my favourite film until i saw the directors cut of Aliens! its aged well and still gets a yearly watch from me! shame about the follow up!
3
Weird Science 1985,  PG-13)
Weird Science
The best film a boy could watch! shame it just doesnt quite have the same effect as when i was 11, otherwise it would get five stars.
4
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut 1999,  R)
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut
The song Uncle Fcuker only came about because the censors would not allow them to use Mother Fcuker so frequently. In Song.
5
The Breakfast Club 1985,  R)
The Breakfast Club
was that upskirt shot really Molly Ringwald? i hope so. that scene helped me through a painful time in my life.
6
The Goonies 1985,  PG)
The Goonies
At one point in my life i watched this every saturday night, back in the glorious days of VHS. Now it still gets a yearly viewing courtesy of DVD. Probably won't be bettered as the best fantasy adventure film for kids ever.

25th anniversary this year and Spielberg and co have been discussing making a sequel with the kids now grown up and with kids of their own..... i'm not sure if i want it to happen or not.
7
Koroshiya 1 (Ichi the Killer) 2001,  R)
Koroshiya 1 (Ichi the Killer)
Miike is one director that you never can predict when you sit down to watch one of his films, this is'nt his best but the easiest to watch! And whats funny is that all noobs think Ichi is the guy on the cover!
8
A Clockwork Orange 1971,  R)
A Clockwork Orange
I saw this video when it was banned and it seemed to draw most of its power from the fact i shouldnt be watching it! Now of course Kubrick is dead and the film is on worldwide release and it doesnt have the same effect, i mean what film nowadays doesnt have a rape scene, it's just the society we grew up in, a society that grew up unable to watch this!!!
9
Donnie Darko 2001,  R)
Donnie Darko
Who truly got this film on first viewing and not on DVD either actually in the cinema and not after your mates told you how cool it was? Without spoiling it all you need to know is this film is about something that never happened or maybe did but probably didnt.

19
The Devil's Rejects 2005,  R)
The Devil's Rejects
More realistic than '1000 corpses' and that worked in its favour as i prefer something thats darker and brutal - also has the record for the most swearing per minute in a movie!
20
Team America - World Police 2004,  R)
Team America - World Police

Kill Bill: Volume 1 2003,  R)
Kill Bill: Volume 1
Half of a really good movie!
24
Kill Bill, Volume 2 2004,  R)
Kill Bill, Volume 2
If only the US audience could hack a 4 hour movie there would be no such thing as VOL.2 - weaker than VOL.1 but still much better than a lot of the revenge flicks of recent years!
25
Moulin Rouge! 2001,  PG-13)
Moulin Rouge!
As a genuine HATER of musicals... i really liked this, the songs were annoying in places, but visually the film made up for it.
26
Pitch Black 2000,  R)
27
Requiem for a Dream 2000,  R)
Requiem for a Dream
Ass to Ass. Probably the grimmest film i've ever seen. But yet still idiots take up Heroin!!!
28
Sin City 2005,  R)
Sin City
Beautifully shot but was missing something, so not a 5 star film! The sequel has Angelina Jolie in it and takes on my favourite SC Story so cant wait for that....
29
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back 1980,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
The best Star Wars film without question. Darker than the original (am i right in thinking this is the only one Lucas didn't direct?) maybe explains a lot.
30
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope 1977,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
Not as some people claim, the greatest movie ever! It's decent enough, but hasnt aged well! Given the fact the plot is a rip off then you're left with just another GOOD sci fi film.
31
The Incredibles 2004,  PG)
The Incredibles
Watchmen re-imagined by Pixar.
32
The Spongebob Squarepants Movie 2004,  PG)
The Spongebob Squarepants Movie
Wasn't a massive SB fan until i watched this, really great movie appeals to kids and stoners alike.
33
Antikörper (Antibodies) 2007,  Unrated)
Antikörper (Antibodies)
Films based around child killers normally tend to be a bit sick. This is twisted too.
34
Thirteen 2002,  R)
Thirteen
A harsh movie about the life of a 13 year old girl.... told truthfully without any of the Hollywood glitz glamour and happy endings.
35
Zoolander 2001,  PG-13)
Zoolander
"He's so hot right now", one of Stillers best movies, and for fans of this movie you'll be glad to know that He is working on a script for the sequel - Derek Zoolander: Male Model.
36
Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (Gojira tai Mekagojira) 2002,  PG)
Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (Gojira tai Mekagojira)
Watched this with NO SUBTITLES, something i shall never do again, it was obvious what was going on, but still a great movie.
37
Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah - Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (Gojira, Mosura, Kingu Gidorâ: Daikaijû sôkôgeki) 2001,  Unrated)
Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah - Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (Gojira, Mosura, Kingu Gidorâ: Daikaijû sôkôgeki)

46
Reservoir Dogs 1992,  R)
Reservoir Dogs
a great movie. i remember my dad getting it for me when i was about 13. against his will of course as he was a member of the brittania video club and back then they sent you the videos unless you said you DIDNT want them. great way of making money.
47
R-Point 2004,  R)
48
Vital 2004,  R)
49
The Butterfly Effect 2004,  R)
The Butterfly Effect
Ashton Kutcher in good movie! That's right, his one and only good film. Now on the back of this theyve made 2 sequels. Kind of ruins the first a little but i shall not watch them unless i run out of films!
50
Cloverfield 2008,  PG-13)
Cloverfield
This film is immense, it attacks the senses once we've been introduced to the characters and then just keeps us hooked until the end. the camera work was well done and gave it that 1st person look it needed without making me feel sick. instantly a top ten film.
51
A Scanner Darkly 2006,  R)
A Scanner Darkly
Genius movie adaptation of another Philip K Dick movie, the story itself is really engrossing, but the animated style lends its self so well to the paranoid delusions. One of those movies where you want to re-watch as soon as you've finished, quite simply brilliant.
52
Once Upon a Time in America 1984,  R)
Once Upon a Time in America
I only watched this a few years ago but absolutely love it!
53
Pump up the Volume 1990,  R)

Barbarella
Needs a rewatch.... that's my new catchphrase.
55
Severance 2006,  R)

Fight Club
Quite simply a head fuck! Plus who hasn't asked someone to punch them as hard as they can after seeing this?
57
Oldboy 2004,  R)
Oldboy
My 2nd favourite of the Vengeance trilogy, but it is a more watchable film, definately not as good as Sympathy For Mr Vengeance, but that's not as fun as this.
58
Azumi 2003,  Unrated)
Azumi
checked this out due to the directors past work and was blown away! CGI blood annoys me though!
59
House of 1000 Corpses 2002,  R)
House of 1000 Corpses
Captain Spaulding is a hero of mine! hope he somehow turns up in Zombie's Halloween!
60
Versus 2000,  R)
Versus
It has zombies, gangsters and a really bad special effect ending, its ace! waiting for the sequel!
61
Inception 2010,  PG-13)
Inception
I worry for the future of cinema... Not because this is a bad film but more because this is being classed as complex, thought provoking cinema as if that's some sort of new thing.... I'm guessing people calling that are usually too busy watching Crank or American Pie to check out films such as Identity, Memento, Mulholland Drive or the like.

This isn't overly complex, it's dreams set within dreams, the pacing of the movie allows you to know which dream is which (if it wanted to complicate matters it could have set each level in identical locations instead) so unless you suffer from ADD it's easy enough to follow.

Also the ending is perfect, anyone complaining that it answers nothing obviously has missed the whole idea of the movie.
8/10
62
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World 2010,  PG-13)
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Avoided reading the comics (definately not graphic novels!) just so I could see this as a stand alone experience. It definately is an experience, not many other films have been able to take the computer game world and use that as a basis for a boy meets girl comedy. The visuals are spot on, the 8-bit sounds layered underneath chugging bass riffs work, especially as it could of gone down the route of just using Prodigy-esque songs (like Kick-Ass).
The battles take in references from every beat em up from Mortal Kombat through to Street Fighter via Tony Hawk Pro Skater. and all with a slightly Marioland kinda vibe.
Kieran Culkin is awesome in this and definately needs to do more mainstream films, i now also have a crush on Mary Elizabeth Winstead - damn your pretty hair!!
Definately worth watching at the cinema as i can see it losing a lot of impact watched on a piddly little computer monitor. Sort of suprised it was'nt 3D as it seemed almost like a perfect fit. Imagine all those coins flying into the audience, swords skimming your head, snow on your tongue - Definately missed a trick, but that was all it missed.

Edgar Wright gets his hat-trick. 9/10
63
The Departed 2006,  R)
The Departed
FINALLY.... managed to watch this tonight. I left it a while after watching Infernal Affairs so the story would'nt be fresh in my mind and lo and behold it worked... Obviously i remembered the important parts but otherwise I got sucked in to most of the shenanigans. Damon & DiCaprio are awesome in their roles as are Winstone, Sheen, Baldwin & Nicholson but Wahlberg was under used somewhat.
For anyone who's a fan of mob/mafia movies then this is a definate must see especially if you liked Infernal Affairs or Donny Brasco. 9/10
64
Secretary 2002,  R)
Secretary
This was such a great film, especially as i knew nothing about it when i saw it, it also quite happily ticks a few of my boxes in the old fetish department!!
65
Godzilla: Final Wars 2004,  PG-13)
Godzilla: Final Wars
Still not sure what was going on but it was shiny!!
66
Back to the Future 1985,  PG)
Back to the Future
The best time travel movie ever made, well apart from the slightly better part 2.

EDIT: Rewatched this on the big screen a few days ago, absolutely brilliant and a must see for anyone who likes movies. 8/10
67
WWE - History of the WWE Championship 2006,  Unrated)
WWE - History of the WWE Championship
Essential viewing. Especially the latter matches. 9/10
