The Grudge
The storyline is 99% identical to the Japanese version (they had to change it a little bit due to the American actors of course) and quite a bit toned down compared to the Japanese release, even in the unrated version. But they make up for it with a hell of a lot more of those "gotcha" moments. The first time I saw the scene where Toshio pops up in front of the screen and opens his mouth with that damn cat sound I literally jumped, said "What the f*** was that???" and rewound it to catch it. :)

This was a decent movie, but in the end, it's a sequel to the American remake, and not a remake of the immensely superior Japanese Ju-On 2. The storyline and everything is much more subdued than the first, and seems watered down to me. Inferior to the first film, and total crap compared to any of the other 5 Ju-On films.

This movie freaked the hell out of me. Very disturbing, Kayako is frightening as hell. Toshio is spooky in his own right. And I love the fact that these aren't like American ghosts. You DO NOT STOP these ghosts, and if you encounter them, you're a goner. Period. Excellent movie.

Batman Begins
The ultimate Batman movie. I've only read a few of the comics, but from what I've read of the comics this is the truest to the comic book character that's been done to date. Even if you aren't a Batman fan, this is a good movie. For once they finally portray Batman as this frightening figure. An awesome movie in every sense of the word.
