I have seen this movi e over 200 times over the past 10 years or so. Its all about attitude and gettin it done!

From Dusk Till Dawn
I always thought I was the only person to LOVE this movie. I'm glad I'm not! Hands down the best acting by George Clooney of all his work. The wickedly arranged story is told and unfolded brilliantly! One of my faves growing up in my late teens and early twenties.

What Lies Beneath
Take the best parts of all the hitchcock thrillers, add some special effects that you'll never notice, and one of today's top directors (Zemeckis) and you have the best all time thriller drama with a twist. Thanks to everyone involved in this one! I love when great minds come together to create a movie this wonderful.

This is not a chick flick as far as I'm concerned. Guys love to fall in love just as much as women.

Puts Raging Bull to shame. A truly touching film that manages to duck and weave its way to a clever, smart and ultimately genuine love story.

Felon
I've always been one who believes that the difference between a good man and a bad man is merely a decision. Moreover, that often good and bad people are really the same people. Good people make bad choices and bad people make good choices. Therefore, its really just about people making choices. FELON is a wondeful showcase of how we can be thrust into darkness while still being innocent and how once you're in you're on your own. It shows how important family is and how few friendships are loyal. I really identify with this movie on more than a few levels. I could see myself being Dorff's character, couldn't most of us? Perhaps, that is what gets us through the whole movie so easily. That could be me! I have too many accolades for this movie. It is a great character driven movie that I recommend to everyone. Thanks Kat for recommending it to me! You were right!

True Grit 2010,  PG-13)
True Grit
The more critical of movies I become I find it harder and almost downright impossible to find a film that can be TRUE from start to finish. A film that can do what it set out to do successfully across all gamuts. This film is one of those few film gems that gets it right. Its wonderful to be able to appreciate it for the art that it is, the film that it was and the mark that it will leave behind. The Coen brothers really are showing audiences once again that its the story, and moreover the storytelling, that reaches us and draws us in. I loved it. Simply stated but filled with that quiet energy and passion that lies within all of us. The acting by Matt Damon really had me nodding my head in approval.
