Hackers 1995,  PG-13)
Hackers
This movie came along at a perfect time. It's a nice cheesy lil movie with some campy parts but it delivers in selling you the entire story even thought it's technically imperfect
2
TRON 1982,  PG)
TRON
Ahhh, This is a wonderful movie!! And a one of the VERY few movies to have a series of stand up video games that did not suck.
Plus as a kid we all liked to have our shirts glow in the light cast from the black light.
3
WarGames (War Games) 1983,  PG)
WarGames (War Games)
For the kid at heart who wants to believe that WOPR is doomed without Josh-this is a great viewing experience. Ok, so the 80's cheese wears thin after 25 years or so but nostalgia flicks are supposed to take you back to a happy place.
4
The Matrix 1999,  R)
The Matrix
The first Matrix is the classic. All other additions to The Matrix brand range from decent to intolerable. The excitement and anticipation is still fresh even after all this time. I wish they would have not rushed the other Matrix movies. They were watchable but are no where near as good as the original. I applaud the effort but it's proven time and again-when Hollywood wants to ramp up a sequel or a series based on the original release you know all your getting is the crappiest version of the original remixed to fit new plot points. Don't forget also all the psychedelic trance and GOA artists use samples from this a lot.

There is no spoon.

Takedown 2000,  R)
Takedown
Having seen the Real documentary on Kevin Mitnik (Freedom Downtime) watching this gives you the sense that the writers and staff of this movies took themselves way too seriously. The "hacks" presented in the movie are poor at best with a lot of creative freedoms taken. This is how NOT to make an IT movie for the IT crowd but is a good view to inspire imagination and watch a crazy story
6
A Very Brady Sequel 1996,  PG-13)
