Quite easily my favorite sci-fi flick of all time. Very violent and full of higihly memorable one-liners. Not to mention an excellent performance by Kurtwood Smith (aka Red from That 70's Show) as the main baddy Clarence Boddicker.
Ahh yes, a remake of my favorite movie of all time. Who says remakes suck? This is how they should be! Watch out for this director Zack Snyder....He just made "300" and is ready to rule with his upcoming film "The Watchmen". Go Zack!
Another excellent remake. Some of it was pretty poor, but for the most part it was highly entertaining with great makeup effects by the master Tom Savini. Who also was in the original Dawn of the Dead ;)
From horror master George A. Romero (director of Night of the Living Dead and the rest of the "dead" movies). This is the story of Martin, a troubled young man who doesn't think, but knows that he is a vampire. He goes to live with his uncle who also knows that he is a vampire. Excellent film, highly recommended.
What would you do if you suddenly woke up one day without a face? Take revenge on all of those that walk over you every day? That's exactly what Henry Creedlow (Jason Flemyng) does when this happens to him!
Yeah, amazing. I just LOVE getting lost in the wonderfully woven story and dialogue that these 2 Batman films have to offer. It's the way a superhero movie should be made, and that's exactly what The Dark Knight delivers in spades. A very loud standing ovation from the crowd in my theater at credits roll.
