My Favorite Movies

Without a doubt, The Dark Knight clearly trumps all superhero movies that came out before it. Iron Man turns to rust, and the Incredible Hulk can turn green in envy and Hancock can probably find some other place to find to.

The Dark Knight is an edge-of-the-seat thrill ride and I could say it could match up to the original Batman. The thing which drove the movie forward was clearly the late Heath Ledger's terrific and flawless portrayal as the demented, intelligent and mad The Joker.

Other than that, the movie would have probably fell to pieces attributing to a pale portrayal of Batman/Bruce Wayne in this sequel compared to Batman Begins. Two Face/Harvey Dent's role as a prop in this sequel was nothing much other than a stepping stone to the movie's conclusion.

So hands down: the movie was clearly awesome given it's thick plot and the late Heath Ledger deserves a long round of applause.

A beautifully done movie which no doubt everyone from all walks of life will be able to relate to. Makoto Shinkai has beautifully integrated our everyday lives into three short stories, woven to tell the tale of love and departure

Definitely one of the best movies this year! Michael Bay has terrifically tranformed toy-box robots into mean and slick fighting machines on the silver screen. Though most of the action lies towards the end of the movie, this is truly action-packed and is a must watch for all!

Undoubtedly, Iron Man's success in the silver screen owes mostly to Marvel's Civil War series. This movie strays from it's outdated origins of the Vietnam War and moves towards the contemporary terrorism state in the Middle East.

To a great many, the action is pretty much lacked in the first portions on the movie, but I can saw that watching Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) don his Mark 3 suit for the first time and kicking the terrorists backsides was worth the strain of the low-action first portion of the movie.

For Marvel fans, Iron Man (standing alongside the blockbuster trilogy of Spider-Man) is a must-watch and it is without question that a sequel is to come anytime in these coming years. Two thumbs up!

This one definitely did a lot better than its prequel, and returns to deliver a more thrill-packed movie. In it's own stand, National Treasure 2 did extremely well and was a naturally good balanced movie.

Though Bartha's (Riley) humorous moments can get overwhelming at times, this movie still does well in humor in its own sense. Cage (Ben Gates) plays his role effectively.

Only one word could describe this movie: Splendid.

A movie which offers a fresh new view on plot and storyline. Animation for this movie was done beautifully once more, especially scenes which involve the outlook of Paris. It is not possible to walk out of the movie theater not feeling hungry, but unless you have a phobia of rats. Especially ones which could cook, this isn't your movie. A deliciously-done movie!

Follows closely to the true tale of Oddyseus. A magnificent movie. Striking and bold

Faithful adaptation of the manga. A work of art! This part is the second OVA continuation to Trust

Beautifully-made, from beginning till the end. The director's cut scenes captured and added more ambiance and emotion to the overall story. Definitely a must-watch

Dark and definitely more thrilling than the previous, this movie is worth watching if you don't compare it to the book. Plus, the end of the movie is worth the wait

A great, great movie! A touch of Japanese honor and the true way of the samurai. It gives an insight of Japan during the Meiji Age

This undeniably gave a new fresh view to the monotonous 'samurai' anime genre. Mixing punk and hip-hop influences, along with parody histories of Japan...

Combined with an extremely intruiging storyline and commandable fight scenes, this is a must-watch!

If there's one thing which must be made clear first and foremost, this movie is worth watching just for Patrick Dempsey. This of course, goes out to the ladies.

On the general scale, this movie is funny, witty and enjoyable and in a certain point, it's a story everyone could perhaps relate to.

Although Made of Honor may run as a somewhat predictable chic-lit movie from a guy's point of view, it still is nonetheless - Enjoyable.

Aside from the majority of comments where this movie may seem too familiar to My Best Friend's Wedding (1997), my advice is to look past that and enjoy the movie.

This one makes great for dates by the way.
