Billy Elliot
This is one of my favorites. It's such a feel good movie, about a kid who shuns boxing for ballet dancing. Quite right!

The Durham accents can be tough to understand at parts, but you get used to it. It's more proof that you don't need a big budget to make a good movie.

What's happened to Will Ferrell? He used to be funny and made movies like this one. The slightly offbeat and random jokes and Ferrell's deadpan delivery make this a winner for me. One of the most quotable movies I know.

Zoolander 2001,  PG-13)
Zoolander
This movie makes me laugh like no other. You're making a mistake if you try to take it seriously at all, but if you let go and just laugh at the silly dialogue and crazy antics you're in for a treat.
