Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan delivered a very strong performance in this movie, they should've won something for their amazing acting here. A heartbreaking movie with helpless character trapped inside their problem. And we just don't know what happened in the past that made the two sibling's relationship unhealthy.

Favorite scene: the Dali-esque dream sequence. Holy f--- (I can't say the f word anymore, or Flixster will take my Super Reviewer Badge). That scene probably is the only memorable thing about this movie (that and the fact that I can see Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman together in one scene). lol.

This might sound weird but this is the first movie that made me to start paying attention about European cinema, call me late, but hey fuck you too. Malena is one of the best coming-of-age movie I've ever seen, in fact it's very underrated. Critic loves Tornatore's Cinema Paradiso more, but this is just as good as Cinema Paradiso. Ennio Morricone's scores just never fail to impress me. Monica Bellucci is the star of this movie, in fact, SHE is the movie. Giuseppe Sulfaro portrayal of little boy obsessed with the town's most hated woman is also unforgettable. I could watch this movie over and over again and still loves every second of it.
