1	Buried 2010, R) You may think the plot sounds boring - a man stuck in a box with a mobile phone and a lighter. If you think that, you're wrong. This is an intense, edge-of-your seat thriller that by the time the end credits role, will leave you breathless.
2	Inception 2010, PG-13) Nolan has already created great films such as Memento, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight - Inception can now be added to that list.
3	Drag Me to Hell 2009, PG-13) Gross, slightly silly - yet highly entertaining. Horror fans couldn't ask for more.
4	The Dark Knight 2008, PG-13) Dark, terrifying, disturbing, and thrilling. The Dark Knight is not just any comic-book adaptation, it is truly a masterpiece.
5	[Rec] 2007, R) 28 Weeks Later meets Cloverfield and The Blair Witch Project. An early but strong contender for best movie of the year.
6	Transformers 2007, PG-13) I don't need to hesitate at all in saying this. Best movie of 2007.
7	The King's Speech 2010, PG-13) There's really only one word to describe The King's Speech - Fantastic!
8	Toy Story 3 2010, G) Toy Story 3 offers adventure, comedy and emotion - a rare second sequel that not only works but surpasses both its predecessors.
9	The Ghost Writer 2010, PG-13) Strong central performances, an intellegent script and brilliant direction.
10	A Prophet (Un prophete) 2009, R) A Prophet is a dramatic and gritty prison drama. A must see.
11	The Road 2009, R) The Road is a credible post-apocalyptic film that features brilliant performances from Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
12	Michael Jackson's This Is It 2009, PG) This Is It is a touching tribute and offers an insight to Michael Jackson as a performer.
13	Star Trek 2009, PG-13) Expectations were low. 126 minutes later - expectations were exceeded.
14	Watchmen 2009, R) This film adaptation doesn't quite stick to the 1980s graphic novel - even so, Watchmen is visually stunning, gripping and highly original. A must see.
15	2001: A Space Odyssey 1968, G) An influential sci-fi adventure.
16	Changeling 2008, R) Changeling is a powerful film that at times is incredibly hard to watch. It's quite simple, this is one of the best films of 2008.
17	Memento 2000, R) Mindbending, original. The only two words suitable enough to describe Memento.
18	The Bourne Ultimatum 2007, PG-13) Ultimately the best of the trilogy.
19	Never Let Me Go 2010, R) With a cast of mostly newcomers, Never Let Me Go is a beautifully shot adaptation with mostly brilliant performances.
20	Blue Valentine 2010, R) Blue Valentine, a film about a marriage on the rocks, is played out well by Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. It's emotionally devastating but delightful at the same time - most importantly, it's believable.
